If you are checking in, check in before night. The directions said Shell station but it is now 76 gas station. We loved the decorations and the Beatles theme monopoly game. It was very quiet area and relaxing. We enjoyed a short hike in the area. We would go back to this cabin.
Very charming little A frame in the woods! Perfect launch spot for skiing at White Pass! Beds were comfortable and amenities were as advertised. Would highly recommend staying here again.
We had a great time and this place was adorable. The only reason I'm not leaving a five star review is because of the novelty toilet paper roll thing that has a recording of the current president's awful sociopathic voice that shouts from it when you use it (really). We sure weren't expecting that and the first time it happened it scared my young daughter so badly that she cried, which was pretty understandable since most people do not like to have their toilet paper roll unexpectedly shout at them when they are using the toilet. We turned it off and it was fine, but it was one super odd and unpleasant thing in an otherwise very nice stay.
For skiers like me who love music and pop culture, and were born in between 1960 and 1970, the nostalgic decorations brought what would have been a good stay to an excellent stay with posters and figurines of the Beatles, Evel Knieval, and other surprises.
Hosts are good communicators, the policies are fair and clear. I loved the A-frame, the cozy feel, and the environment with trails and peaks nearby. Cool fridge that you can sign when you stay there. The staircase to the upper level is narrow and steep, could be difficult for larger bodies. And the master bedroom door does not open all the way, blocked by the bed. I did really enjoy wiping my poop on the current president’s ridiculous proclamations. A great place for singles and couples.
The host was very helpful and communicative. The house was comfortable for the three of us and a drivable distance to Mount Rainier for our hiking trips. We had a great stay!
Great place to stay, with a very nicely styled interior! Checking in was very easy, and all facilities that one would need are available. It is located in a very nice, quiet and green neighborhood! It offers great options to explore Mt Rainier. We would love to come again!
My Dad and I had a great time at the Rock-N-Roll cabin! It was super close to both Mt Rainier and Packwood. We're avid hikers and it was perfect for our little trip! Although my Dad isn't the biggest fan of the Beatles (crazy), we loved the theming and decorations. Super easy check in and out
We enjoyed our stay and they had everything we needed. The cabin could use a bit of TLC and deep cleaning other than that it was so peaceful and relaxing.
Wonderful cabin with fun aesthetic and comfortable spaces! Everything you need is provided and there's a beautiful trail system a few blocks down that leads to a waterfall.

Hi, we are Johnny and Stephanie. We live in Packwood full time and love to ski, snowboard and explore the mountains. We have lived here for 20 years. We love Packwood and we love our cabin and welcome you to it!
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because we wanted a original A frame. We love High Valley County Club and the benefits that are included when you own a home there. We also think that the friends and neighbors on Sunstone Road are the best!
What makes this property unique
There is nothing like a A frame cabin. They were made that way for a reason and we have tried to keep it original. We are music enthusiast's and appreciate all genres. This cabin features a few things we have collected over the years. The Rock-N-Roll memorabilia is certainly fun to check out!
