Cozy!! Just the two of us and our dog who was so happy to be on the road trip! This cabin is on the small side but so well equipped there were no needs except for the rain to stop, which it did after our first full day. No worries we hung out, drove around and became familiar with the area and the general store on the corner. Stopped in several times! Also carried out a pizza from the cute diner also nearby. The kitchen is very well organized and updated. The knotty pine is charming. The area is quiet, lake beautiful especially at sunset. I was surprised to read the guest book and some guests have rented in the winter. That would be amazing. Thanks to the hosts, Ken and Michelle. The welcome basket was such a nice touch and the treats hard to resist!

The property is excellent. I had a bad ankle, it was difficult to walk down and back up to the water, but that can’t be helped without placing stairs. We went fishing and caught a couple nice bass, we went to a couple shops in Harrisville and also to the Bear Store. Happy we stayed here, other than one problem that couldn’t be helped by the host (and was already voiced to Ken)

Knotty pine cabin was an accurate description of a cozy place on a lake. The view of the lake from the deck and living room was very nice. Kitchen and bathroom updated , clean, and well stocked. We especially liked being able to take our little dog with us. I would mention the dock( over rated) and entry to water with kayaks was a bit challenging for a Senior couple . Not sure row boat has been out in awhile. Sorry to say we did not enjoy the smoke, but certainly not hosts’ fault. Thank you Ken for comfortable stay!

Sharon, I would agree the Canadian Wildfire smoke was not a welcome visitor! The guests this year have not been taking advantage of the row boat, many have brought their own boat. We look forward to hosting you again. Ken

Overall the property is great. Well maintained and decent location. Stocked with the essentials and well priced. The lake access is ok with the dock but not what we were expecting. It is just dock and about 5 foot of waterfront and no beach. The fishing off the dock was great but that's all we could do. If you like kayaking and row boats, you are set. They provide them. The only other downside was that we weren't told about the sprinklers. Left all our swimming stuff outside overnight to dry but the sprinklers turned on at 7am. If we had been warned, it would have been fine.I won't be booking this property again but it would be great for other families. The host was responsive and understanding

Cabin was very clean, well supplied and just what we were hoping for. Its location suited our excursion needs and the availability of a row boat gave us chance to do some fishing on the lake. Very much enjoyed our stay.

A very quiet stay on a very beautiful lake, just perfect for us and our dog. You can swim or fish right from the dock, and the kayaks and rowboats make the rest of the lake accessible.

Nice getaway

Great little cabin, nice area and the lake is beautiful. We had a lot of fun fishing and caught quite a few bass and panfish. Ken is a great host and responds promply should you need anything. Highly recommended!
