The Bamboo Bungalow is a 1000 sq. ft. home nestled in a bamboo forest on a 10-acre private compound within the Burlington city limits. It has a spacious great room/kitchen that connects to a beautiful screened porch via two sets of French doors. The bedroom with a king size bed has a separate door that opens onto a private deck. There is a large walk in shower off the bedroom and a stacked washer and dryer. Both rooms have vaulted ceilings with plenty of ambient light. The fully-furnished kitchen features custom cabinets, a rough cut granite countertop, and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and built-in microwave. The dining table is custom made from granite and fabricated steel tubing. The den features hickory hardwood floors, a 50-inch flat screen TV and high speed wireless internet provide the opportunity to work away from home. This property is very convenient to everything. Less than 1 1/2 miles off the interstate. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Stayed here for a few days as a quiet getaway in the Fall and enjoyed the tranquil setting. The perfect size for an individual or a couple and lots of privacy. The contactless check-in was easy and appreciated as was the obvious cleanliness of the entire house during this time of COVID. A wonderful place to stay for some quiet time but also 5 minutes to lots of food options and the highway.

Clint & Rebecca were gracious and kind hosts. We stayed in their lovely home after we had a house fire, with a 3 week old baby. After staying in a hotel for several days with the baby and two dogs in tow, it was wonderful to finally move into temporary housing that was clean and a perfect place to get our bearings back. Our hosts were beyond accommodating and were able to extend our time when our home still was not ready for move-in. Don't think you will find better hosts!! Thank you Clint and Rebecca!!!
Loved the location in the bamboo forest. Private, quiet, clean and very unique place to stay. Close to Elon, which makes it a great location. Would deinfelty stay again.
This was the perfect place! A small one bedroom with a GREAT ROOM! The pond with kayak, canoe and fishing was an added bonus! I am already planning a return!
We stayed for 2 months while house hunting. They stay was comfortable. Clint was readily available. He was informative and kind. It was quiet and secluded while being close to everything from Walmart to restaurants, parks and downtown
T-Day and weekend gathering with daughter and her husband
Pleasant stay; cozy place that met all our needs. If renting for four people, I'd make sure all are OK with the layout - a little odd for the couple sleeping in the living room to have to go through the other couple's bedroom to use the bathroom, but we adapted.
We were able to secure a couple of homes within this beautiful and private lakeside compound for our Homecoming festivities. Having a central location for gatherings while being able to split off into our own space within walking distance was ideal. The amenities are new, fresh and well maintained. Already looking forward to next time. Thanks.
Clean renovated bungalow in mixed middle class neighborhood just off I40 for convenient access and very private with surrounding bamboo. Pebbled drive without grassy yard. Prompt response from owners.
The Bamboo Bungalow was lovely. It is tucked away very ingeniously. It has all the comforts of home. The bamboo & tree leaves rustling provided a great background for the best sleep I’ve had in months. I’d like to stay again.
Secluded, private bungalow in a residential neighborhood. Super convenient to Elon and the interstate. Clint was responsive and helpful in retrieving some left behind items.
I travel extensively throughout the country and this is the best setup I have had. I spent 7 months here for work; it has everything you need and more for a long term stay. It is truly an oasis right outside the city.
Just what we needed! The bamboo was amazing. You guys have a great thing going. Thanks and nice to meet you Clint.
