Welcome to Krischan—a place where everyday life takes a break and the Baltic Sea is right nearby. This cosy half of a house is quietly located on a small village street in the resort town of Bönstrup and offers everything families, couples, and dog owners could want for a relaxing holiday. Here, you’ll start your day to the sound of birdsong, plenty of natural light, and a sense of connection to nature—and in the evening, you can enjoy relaxing moments in the garden, perhaps by a cosy campfire.
The living area spans approximately 79 square metres on the ground floor (the upper floor is unoccupied) and is bright, welcoming, and comfortably furnished. In the spacious living room, large windows create an airy, open atmosphere. Two comfortable sofas invite you to spend time together (playing board games or watching TV).
The kitchen is modernly equipped (including a kettle, dishwasher, induction cooktop with oven, and a large fridge-freezer combo) and offers access to the private, fenced-in garden with a patio and grill, so everything is right at your fingertips. You’ll also find a classic drip coffee maker (size 4 filter bags)—perfect for a cosy start to the day.
Two bedrooms offer enough space for up to four people. Both bedrooms feature a double bed (180 x 200 cm). The choice is yours: We offer the option to bring your own linens to keep holiday costs down. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide our linens package (bed linens and towels) as an optional extra—whichever best suits your travel plans. For bookings of 14 nights or more, we’ll provide a second set of towels free of charge.
The shower room is spacious, bright, and practical, featuring a large shower stall, a stylish sink, a toilet, and a window that lets in natural light.
Every room has windows equipped with fly/insect screens.
A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge in the utility room, which is especially convenient for longer stays or holidays with children. For small children, we’ve provided a small selection of children’s books and toys. A high chair and a travel cot can be added to your reservation at no extra charge.
The quiet, private, fenced-in garden is a real highlight. It offers plenty of space to play and run around, is ideal for guests with dogs, and invites you to enjoy relaxing moments outdoors—whether it’s breakfast in the fresh air, a glass of wine in the evening, or a cosy barbecue followed by a campfire around the fire pit. The rear location with a view of nature ensures that you can truly unwind here. An important note: The owners’ former workshop in the outbuilding is no longer in use.
Bicycles can be stored right next to the house in a lockable shelter.
Dear dog lovers: Dogs are very welcome! However, we charge an extra fee for their stay and cleaning. The yard is completely fenced in.
Ideal for anglers: comfort and functionality
Krischan offers optimal conditions for a successful fishing holiday on the Flensburg Fjord. The modern kitchen is equipped with a large fridge-freezer, so both groceries and the day’s catch can be stored easily and safely. A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge in the utility room for washing outdoor clothing—ideal after a long day on the coast. The catch of the day can be prepared in the evening right on the grill on the private terrace. The fully fenced-in garden and the lockable shed also offer plenty of space to safely store fishing gear or prepare it in peace.
The surrounding area offers nature, coastal air, and plenty of opportunities for carefree holiday days., Whether it’s walks across vast fields, bike rides along the Flensburg Fjord, a trip to the Baltic Sea beach just a few kilometres away, or a visit to Flensburg—all around Krischan you’ll find variety, relaxation, and that typical North German serenity. For children, there are playgrounds and exciting places to explore, and dog owners will appreciate the numerous trails and natural areas in the immediate vicinity.
