"The Desert Haven", a beautifully decorated home is perfect for entertaining! The owner, a Palm Springs area luxury interior designer, has created a warm and inviting space, inside and out. This home features a 2400 sq. ft. open floor plan with volume ceilings, 4 bedrooms (one with French doors/separate entry off the front courtyard); 3 bathrooms; a game room loft with a pool table; four smart TV's, and so much more. The property includes an elegantly landscaped backyard where you will enjoy the spectacular mountain sunsets from the private saltwater pool and spa.
The Desert Haven is conveniently located less than 5 miles to the Coachella Music Festival/ Stagecoach event center. Stay in March and watch the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, also located at the IWTG, or take in the nationally recognized La Quinta Arts Festival in Old Town La Quinta. For those guests flying in, the home is less than 20 miles east of Palm Springs airport. Come visit The Desert Haven, any time of the year, you won't be disappointed!
In booking your reservation, please let us know if you would like the pool heated for your stay. To heat the spa is no extra charge but we do ask for compensation to cover the pool heating costs. It takes a full extra day ahead to fully heat, we charge $100. for your first day and $50. each additional day.

The home and backyard are absolutely beautiful.

Great Stay for BNP Tennis

We stayed here for a family vacation to watch tennis at the BNP Paribas. The house was wonderful. Great location with easy commute to the tennis tournament. Our hosts were very accessible and the whole process went very smoothly. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful home, great location

This villa was just what we needed. Chris & Michelle have thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay. The outdoor space is fantastic, so peaceful and relaxing. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. Plenty of things to do in the local area too. Can't wait to return!

We had a great time while staying at Desert Haven! It's located at the end of a cul-de-sac and in a nice neighborhood. Very close to shopping, golf and restaurants. Chris and Michelle were extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this home!

Family Vacation

What an amazing stay! The owners were amazing… from booking to arrival and throughout our stay. So thankful to have come across this property. Traveling with opinionated teenagers and young adults can be challenging… but when all agree hands down this was their favorite vacation that definitely speaks volumes! We will definitely book again.

This location was appealing because my friends and I could invite our partners and have our kids play in the pool. The beach like pool entrance was perfect for kids. We played games and had lots of fun. We all had a pleasant stay.

Amazing place to enjoy a relaxing get away!

The property was amazing! We really enjoyed the beautiful back yard with pool. It felt like our own private oasis! It is also the best stocked VRBO ever with lots of little touches which made it feel like home. We would definitely return to this property if we find ourselves in sunny Palm Springs again. Wonderful house

Easy and relaxing

Perfect spot for a summer escape. Pool and spa were perfect, great water pressure in the shower, all the amenities you could need for a short or long stay. Table tennis, pool toys, board games, etc. Tons to do! Plenty of room to spread out. We'll be back!

Beautiful home!

House was very spacious and clean. Out kids got lots of use of pool table. Beautiful pool and backyard. Unfortunately it was a windy weekend, but they actually offered to clean the pool so we could use. I would definitely book again, best place I have stayed.

Beautiful home! Wonderful hosts!

“Desert Haven” is a beautiful, spacious home that is very tastefully decorated. The yard is huge, nicely landscaped and very inviting with a lovely pool and hot tub. Extremely comfortable inside and out for our group of 8. And hosts, Chris and Michelle, made our stay hassle free. They made arrival and departure incredibly easy, were immediately available and overly considerate . We had a great week and plan to return!

Fabulous holiday at Desert Haven!

Thank you, Michelle and Chris! Your home was absolutely perfect for our family get away to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The grandkids had a supper time in the pool and we appreciated all the pool tools and floaties. Such a beautiful home which gave the 4 adults and 3 children ample space to feel comfortable. Did I mention the pool table and location? A very welcomed retreat from the north.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Stay

House and backyard are beautiful, spacious and very clean. More than enough space for our family of four. We had everything we needed and beyond. After reading a few reviews mentioning street noise in the backyard I had some concerns. Honestly this was not an issue for us at all and I am sensitive to that, Communication with the owners was very easy and fast. We fully enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house to others. We hope to return with extended family when we can.

Retreat during COVID

We had a wonderful time! The owners were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. It was super hot but the house was cool and there were lots of areas with shade outside. There are large beautiful trees that helped shade us from the sweltering heat in the pool and there was plenty of shaded sitting areas. The house had plenty of room for all of us and we could still maintain some distance from each other. I would definitely book this house again for future family get togethers.

Amazing property with fabulous hosts

I can't say enough positive things about this property! The location is perfect being only a short drive to anything within the valley, lots of great restaurants nearby, convenient to grocery, and a fabulous park/playground only 0.5 mile away. The house is even more beautiful in person than the pictures do justice- great layout, lovely and comfortable furnishings, and better equipped than any rental we've ever stayed in! The backyard (including pool and hot tub) are simply stunning. Finally, Chris and Michelle are the most responsive, helpful, gracious hosts you could possibly imagine. We had a wonderful stay despite horrible weather (mostly highs in the 50's!) and will definitely be back!
