Our holiday rental is located on Norderstraße, right behind the impressive St. Laurentius Church—a place steeped in history, as a church was first built here as early as 1186. The central yet quiet location in the historic town centre of Tönning makes your stay particularly pleasant.

In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the picturesque harbour with its small fishing boats, restaurants, and the famous Packhaus. The green swimming beach on the Eider River is also only about 1.3 km away and invites you to spend relaxing hours gazing out at the water. Shopping options, cosy cafés, bakeries, and the train station are all in the immediate vicinity—ideal for a holiday without having to travel far.

Just 800 metres from the idyllic Tönnings harbour and only 1.3 kilometres from the beach, our apartment is the perfect retreat for anyone who loves the sea and is looking to unwind.

Start your day with a stroll through the historic alleyways, listen to the seagulls calling over the harbour, and let the wind ruffle your hair; the Eider and North Sea are within arm’s reach here. After an eventful day, you can unwind in your cosy accommodation, enjoy the sunset with a cup of tea, or simply soak up the special atmosphere of this small coastal town.

Whether you’re travelling as a couple or alone; the apartment is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Wadden Sea, bike rides along the dikes, or relaxing hours in a beach chair.
A special highlight: The endless, expansive sandy beach of Sankt Peter-Ording is only about 23 km away and easily accessible by car—perfect for a day trip to the sea with a beach chair, views of the dunes, and the sound of the waves.

Dogs are very welcome here! You’re welcome to bring your four-legged friends along; however, please understand that cats are not allowed in the apartment.

Important information about the accommodation:
A visitor’s tax is required in Tönning. The apartment is located in a historic building dating from around 1840. Due to the building’s construction, the maximum ceiling height in the apartment is approximately 2.15 metres. Enjoy a comfortable bath: You can shower conveniently in the bathtub—ideal for relaxing after a day in the fresh North Sea air. Please note that the apartment is not suitable for people with allergies, and smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
