The cabin is cozy and very close to Sequoiah National Park entrance. The beds are super comfy and we had plenty of towels, etc. The directions/check-in process was sent to me before we left and was super accurate. The only thing I would say to improve - we made dinner one night and one of the pots is cracked.

Very nice accommodations which had everything you would need. Rooms were clean. Lots of towels! It was quiet. The beds were comfortable and it was very close to the park entrance (about 2 miles away). The central AC was a very welcome feature as it was around 100 degrees during the day. We will definitely look for this one next time we visit. :)

Pros: The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped. Cons: There’s no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away.

Great Location!

Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens.

Unexpectedly Wonderful

First impressons matter and this place makes a heck of great one. My favorite part of this experience was the flawless communication process. I work in communications so I know that it sets a good foundation for any type of relationship; Pam was very nice and attentive, she answered ALL of my emails (whith the thousand questions I had) which was our first form of contact; once we had gotten to speaking on the phone, she answered all of my phone calls. I took a whole hour of her time (possibly more) to get the cabin booked. Pam informed me of the happenings around town and what to expect from my trip. When I mentioned to her I was going up there for my 3rd anniversity, she offered me 2 seats at a wine tasting dinner she was hosting. Although my booking was very last minute, Pam did her best at making everything simple for me. I arrived at 4am and she had left the lights of the cabin on (so that I knew it was my cabbin) and a bottle of wine with a nice bouquet of flowers and a Happy Anniversary note. My husband loved the thought. That itself was enough for an awe moment. The cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. There were extra pillows, blankets, and towels. There is a tv and DVD player for entertaiment; i suggest you bring your own movies however. The kitchen is fully stocked (silverware and wine opener included) and there is a cute deck in the back with access to the river. I would suggest a screen door for the sliding door, however; we wanted to let the fresh air in but we didn't want the bugs to join us. The cabin does have AC anyway, so it was not a big deal. All together, this was a wonderful experience. This was my first cabin rental and I loved it. I can't wait to spend another weekend in one of these cabins. Next time I am buying groceries. One last thing, there is a basket of goodies left for the guests. Enjoy!

So glad you loved the cabin! We wish we could provide washers and dryers here, but we are too close to the river to add more to leach field. Hoping the location off sets this inconvenience! Thanks for coming.

Close to park and meets expectations

Cute cabin directly on Sierra Dr and across the street from Totem Market & Gifts. Driving back down to Village Market is probably a better idea if you need anything. Location is just minutes from the park entrance.

Thanks you for the 5 star review! We are happy you had a great stay, and hope you come again. Yes Totem is more of a convenience store than grocery. The food though is award winning, and the little Redwood wine tasting and craft beer bar is wonderful.

Perfect!

We are a family of 5: mom, dad and 3 boys (11, 11 and 15). We had the pleasure of staying in the Kaweah cabin. It was a perfect fit! The cabin was plenty big for all of us. It was updated and decorated smartly and cute. It was clean and in an ideal location to visit King's and Sequoia. The temperature in Three Rivers exceeded 100 degrees all the days we were there, but there is a small AC unit in every room that quickly cooled the cabin and made for a very nice retreat after exploring the parks all day. The cabin has all that is advertised. My only complaint was that we are asked to take out our trash and do the dishes each day, but were only given 1 extra trash bag and 1 dishwasher pod. Nonetheless, the BBQ was an added perk, the beds and living room were comfortable, and the cabin had all we needed. We would absolutely stay there again. The Totem store and restaurant across the street has all you may have forgotten and the employees are so helpful and kind. Checking in was a breeze because we were given a code to use well before we lost phone signal.

Breautiful home with easy access to Sequoia NP

The house in itself is beautiful. We were given the wrong code for the door so checking in was a little tricky. It was hard to get a hold of the owners due to our lack of phone service and not having the current WiFi password. Fortunately, the folks across the street at Totem Market were extremely helpful and were able to get us the correct code for the house. The owner gave us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience! The house was beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and beds, fully equipped with linens, kitchen utensils, beautiful dishes, and CONVENIENT access to Sequoia NP. One of the rooms has glass shutters (not really a window) which made the room a bit warm, and let bugs into the room. I guess that's a part of being close to the outdoors is about. Although it was a slight nuisance we figured out to make the best of it. Although it was a little tricky getting a hold of the owners, once we were able to reach them their response was prompt. It was a pleasure staying in this home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to go back !

Hi Chris - Bugs get in when guests have door open. The cabin is on the river and riparian habitat so we have a lot of night flyers and creatures of all kinds. We are going to add screen doors to help with keeping things out that we don't want in! Bugs are attracted to light, and people love to be out around the firepit and often leave the door ajar going in and out, especially the little ones. We are vigilant about spraying the perimeter of the building, but do not spray the large poppy hedge and other flowers, to avoid hurting the bees and the birds. Bugs happen in nature, but we get your concern especially our guests from the city. Thanks for coming and staying at the Cabins to experience the Park.

Very quaint and comfortable.

This was a lovely place to stay while visiting Sequoia. Literally 2 minutes outside the park entrance. This cabin has multiple rooms, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, nice dining area and spacious living room. The WIFI works great and the AC in each room was a nice luxury to have available. There’s a nice fire pit with table, chairs and an umbrella. Unfortunately we couldn’t make use of that nice feature. The owner was very responsive, helpful, generous and kind. Should we come to Sequoua again, this is the place we’d pick to stay, hands down!

Great location!!!

We stayed in the larger cabin three bedrooms two baths , there was plenty of space and comfort for us. The shower plumbing needs a little help , One shower twinkles on you the other shoots out like a firehose. There is a great barbecue grill or outside which the last night we barbecued steak and chicken. We had to eat outside because the kitchen table in the cabin was a little sketchy, it wobbled and we thought the lags of the table would break off. Be careful!! Maybe be its planned it that way, because being outside was absolutely wonderful, hearing the river nearby and the view of the mountains was breathtaking , apart from the bugs. This place was perfectly located, with the smal market, deli, restaurant/ BBQ and wine bar all-in-one across the street , and a great staff, was very convenient and a lot of fun for us. Down the road about a quarter of a mile was a Larger restaurant and lounge bar ( small music bands on weekends) .. we also enjoyed. I would definitely return to these cabins. Cari
