The vacation apartment is in a fantastic hillside location in Pognana Lario, a small village in a privileged position between Como (12 km) and Bellagio (17 km) in the inner triangle of the lake. The house faces the lake on the lakeside road, approx. 90 m as the crow flies above the lake. The impressive hillside location offers plenty of sunshine and a fascinating view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a typical Italian village bar with ice cream, cappuccino, prosecco and small snacks at the entrance to the lakeside road. The balcony is furnished with a dining table and chairs.

The Raphael apartment is located in an apartment building on a hillside with several apartments and a bar on the first floor. The entrance to the staircase is on the street side and a staircase leads down to your apartment. You enter directly into the bright and light-flooded living area with dining table and living area and balcony with magnificent lake and mountain panorama.
On the mountain side is a guest WC with washbasin, WC and washing machine, as well as a small separate kitchen.
To the side is the master bedroom with a double bed facing the lake. Let the sun wake you up in the morning with a fantastic view of the lake. On the mountain side is the second bedroom with double bed and bathroom en suite with washbasin, shower, bathtub with massage. Bathroom and bedroom have no windows.

The apartment impresses with its size, furnishings and location. The view is beautiful. The bar on the mountain side is only occasionally noticed and is an enrichment for guests who value some service “around the corner”. The obliging manager Signora Durini speaks German. The apartment is recommended all year round.

Next to the house there is a parking lot with a barrier with reserved parking space for your apartment, other public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

You can reach a bathing spot with a small-boat harbour in just 3–5 minutes via a steeper natural path with steps, passing by quaint gardens. Access to the lake for swimming is via a flight of steps or a ladder leading into the water.
In Pognana Lario and the surrounding villages, several bathing spots invite you to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Como. Right in the village itself, there are natural, stony access points to the lake. The nearest official bathing area is the beautiful Lido di Faggeto Lario (about a 10-minute drive). Sun loungers can be booked online there, and admission is paid on site. The water gets deep after just a few metres and is therefore particularly suitable for experienced swimmers. Due to limited parking spaces, it is advisable to arrive early.
Another hidden gem is the small pebble beach at Careno, which can be reached via a footpath of around 300 steps or by public ferry. Its idyllic setting makes it particularly charming, but access is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Sports enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy around Pognana Lario. Lake Como offers ideal conditions for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing and boating. In addition, numerous hiking and mountain bike trails wind through the impressive mountain landscape, offering magnificent views of the lake.
