Perfect location in Menton

We stayed five nights in Menton, our favorite spot on the Riviera. The apartment was very comfortable and centrally located. It was one of our best accommodations on our 6 week trip to France.

This apartment was perfect. The view and location cannot be beaten. A great base to enjoy Menton and to swim every day just across the road. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the apartment and hope to return again.

The view from Nathalie's balcony was nothing short of spectacular. The highlight of the view was sitting up in bed with a morning cup of tea and watching the sun rise out of the sea - this was in October. The flat itself has everything you need and very well located for the main part of town, stations etc. I would recommend Menton Garavan if travelling by rail. All in all. a high recommendation from me

Amazing apartment.

This apartment is on prime location, exactly in front of the old town beach. We can reach everywhere on walking distance, beautiful view from the bacony or even from inside of the apartment. Traumblick von der Terrasse

Eine ganz charmant und stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit allen technischen Annehmlichkeiten mit Terrasse am Rand der Altstadt unmittelbar an der Promenade zum Strand am alten Hafen von Menton. Es erlaubt einen Traumblick von Sonnenaufgang bis zum -untergang. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit. SpaziergĂ€nge in die historische Altstadt haben ihren Reiz. Die alten Friedhöfe reflektieren die Zeit englischer Adliger und russischer GrĂ€finnen im Ort. Der hĂŒbsche Park Val Rameh in Gehweite verzaubert mit seiner Ruhe und Exotik. Hierher möchten wir gerne wiederkommen und gerne wieder die praktische Parkmöglichkeit in der großzĂŒgigen modernen Tiefgarage unter dem Strand nutzen. Die Vermieter sind Ă€ußerst liebenswĂŒrdig und prĂ€zise.

Urlaub frĂŒhzeitig beendet

Positiv: Check-in und Check-out haben sehr gut geklappt. Wir wurden sehr nett von der Gastgeberin mit einer Flasche Prosecco empfangen. Die Wohnung war - bis auf ein entscheidendes Ausstattungsmerkmal - so wie beschrieben und gut eingerichtet. Alles war sehr zentral und der Strand grad ĂŒber die Straße. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Bucht. Negativ: Wir wissen, wie warm und auch laut es im Sommer an der Cote d'Azur werden kann, wenn man zentral bucht. Unser wichtigstes Auswahlkriterium war daher eine Klimaanlage bei der Durchsicht der Wohnungsangebote und haben uns dann fĂŒr diese in Menton entschieden. In der Wohnung war dann allerdings nur ein Ventilator. Auf diesen Mangel hingewiesen (obwohl im Inserat angegeben) bemĂŒhte sich unsere Gastgeberin den Schaden zu begrenzen. Ihr Mann brachte eine mobile Anlage vorbei. Diese war leicht zu bedienen, aber funktionierte leider nicht (hat nicht gekĂŒhlt) und zudem einen HöllenlĂ€rm verursacht, da sie nicht das neueste Modell war, und somit in der Nacht unbrauchbar gewesen wĂ€re. Das bedeutete fĂŒr uns, dass wir die Fenster (wegen des LĂ€rms) nicht schließen konnten und auch nichts gegen die Hitze hatten. Nicht einmal die Ohrenstöpsel, die wir uns extra gekauft hatten, haben geholfen.Was auch noch störend war, war die Klimaanlage der Pizzeria unter der Wohnung. Diese verströmte einen Gestank nach Gully, der zu uns hochwaberte. Die Meeresbrise hat den Gott sei Dank immer wieder weggeblasen. Nur am Ruhetag der Pizzeria war die Luft gut. Da der Erholungswert in der Nacht gleich null war, entschlossen wir uns schweren Herzens, den Urlaub frĂŒhzeitig abzubrechen und haben das der Gastgeberin auch so kommuniziert. Angebot fĂŒr eine Kostenreduktion gab es keines.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt, auch Dank des Willkommens und Einweisung von Nathalie und Ihrem Mann. Die Beschreibung und die Bilder des Appartements sind treffend. Bei Anreise mit dem Auto ist der optionale Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage super und dringend zu empfehlen. Die Lage und Aussicht ist top, zu berĂŒcksichtigen ist nur die Strasse fĂŒr lĂ€rmempfindliche SchlĂ€fer.

Amazing!

I can't express to you enough how beautiful the views are from this wonderful spot. Menton is a gorgeous small town that has tons of local shops with an old-school feel. Every morning, my wife and I would sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of tea in pure bliss. Furthermore, you are not far from Nice, Monaco, or the medieval village of Ezé. We had a wonderful stay, and the experience was one of the best we've ever had.

Romantische Nest

Die Lage der Wohnung ist hervorragend, nur wenige Schritte zu verschiedenen Buslinien (u.a. Direktverbindung nach Monaco) ,zur fantastischen Markthalle und zur neuen Strandpromenade. Viele Restaurants in direkter NÀhe, wie eine Spitzenpizzeria im Nachbarhaus. Die Ausssicht von der Wohnung ist mindestens 6 Sterne wert. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll mit mediteranem Charme eingerichtet Sehr schönes Bad.

Well designed, well located, marvelous view

Nathalie and Michel were warm and gracious hosts. Because of road blockages all over France, we were unable to make it to Menton until Sunday morning but they were very flexible and understanding. The apartment is perfectly located, the stairs are wide and easy and the view is stunning. The apartment is well designed and decorated and has everything one would need for a good stay. The hosts also own the shop underneath the apartment so are readily available if you need them. Parking is very convenient either in the street parking immediately in front of the apartment or in the secure parking area below the street. We can't wait to return.

This was our second visit to this property, it is in a great location with beautiful views of the sea. It is really well equipped and laid out. Deux semaines de rĂȘves mĂȘme lorsque le ciel ce dĂ©chaine, le cabre est magnifique nous sommes conquis et par le cadre, la ville historique mais surtout par Nathalie et Michel qui se mette en quatre pour que le sĂ©jour soit des plus agrĂ©ables et ils sont toujours aussi discret et serviable ce que l’on ne retrouve pas dans un hĂŽtel. La voiture a fait 0Km sur 14 jours. A l’annĂ©e prochaine.

Accueil plus que chaleureux, avec un joli et bon petit cadeau d'accueil trĂšs apprĂ©ciable, je me suis sentie comme Ă  la maison. L'appartement est trĂšs trĂšs clean et confortable, au passage je signale aussi 2 trĂšs bons matelas, rien ne manque et la terrasse est formidable avec une vue Ă  couper le souffle, j'ai pu dormir toutes les nuits fenĂȘtres grandes ouvertes !! et cerise sur la gĂąteau il n'y a que la rue Ă  traverser pour se baigner !! alors pour moi qui ai une bĂ©quille je l'apprĂ©cie d'autant plus que le studio se trouve au centre historique de la ville. Je remercie vivement Nathalie et Michel pour leur gentillesse spontanĂ©e et leur marque d'attention , ils ont poussĂ© celle ci jusqu'Ă  me porter Ă  la gare routiĂšre par leur propre moyen car j'Ă©tais trĂšs encombrĂ©e par mes valises et ma bĂ©quille et cela m'a profondĂ©ment touchĂ©e. J'ai passĂ© les 2 semaines formidables et je reviendrais sans hĂ©siter avec un grand plaisir dĂšs que possible. Je me permet de les embrasser car ils sont formidables, de belles personnes !! Lovely Apartment

We stayed at the apartment for a week. We had a wonderful stay.The apartment is very clean and comfortable and well maintained.Just as described. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Public transport is very good you can travel around very easily by train or bus. We would recommend you to stay here it is good value for money

Magnifique appartement, une vue digne d’une carte postal, idĂ©alement situĂ©, trĂšs proche de la plage; de la rue piĂ©tonne, des resto et de ses magasins. DĂ©corĂ© avec gout; trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©, l'appartement est bien entretenu. L’accueil par les propriĂ©taires est chaleureux et discret. Les restaurants tout proches sont de bons rapports qualitĂ© prix. Nous recommandons cet appartement, et c'est un rĂ©el plaisir d'y retournĂ©
