Finca close to nature in a secluded location approx. 10 km from the sea. Between olives and oranges

We rent out our nature-filled finca on the Costa de Azahar on a seasonal basis, directly from owner to tenant.
Perfect for active couples—ideal for sports or simply relaxing.
Wi-Fi is available for working from home,
a 12 x 5 m pool and a pond for plenty of nature. 3,000 square metres of landscaped garden, total property size 10,000 square metres.
Secluded location with excellent access and parking.
We get our electricity from our solar power system,
The 110-square-meter house is a Danish energy-efficient wooden home featuring a spacious entryway with a coat closet. 3 bedrooms (though we only rent out 2), a separate toilet, and a bathroom with a shower. The living, kitchen, and dining areas are in one large open space, which opens onto the terrace and the garden.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a gas stove and oven, though it does not have a dishwasher.
The house is very well insulated, so it doesn’t get hot in the summer with the blackout blinds in the bedrooms, and it doesn’t get too cold during the cooler months. The solar thermal system provides basic heating, and the wood-burning stove ensures cosy evenings in the living area.
In 2025, we also installed an air conditioner.
We have fly screens on almost all the windows.
We have deliberately chosen not to have a TV; instead, we have games and plenty of books. However, if you bring your own computer, you can of course enjoy a TV night via the internet.
Towels and bed linens are provided. A washing machine is available in the utility room next to the kitchen. In the garden, we have a large, permanently installed clothesline for drying laundry.
The area is also beautiful for day trips.
The ocean is about a 15- to 20-minute drive away. Depending on which road you take, it leads to the coastal towns of Vinaros, Benicarlo, or Peñíscola.
The finca’s location is also ideal for heading inland to hike or bike.
A leisurely stroll from the finca—whether to walk the dog, go for a jog, or just take a walk—is always a wonderful experience.
We rent the property for stays ranging from 2 weeks to 2 months, always during the periods when we’re in Germany.
If possible, we’ll meet you on-site to hand over the keys before we leave. Or our friend who lives there will show you everything you need to know.
We’re available by phone if you have any questions, and there’s a guest folder with the most important instructions.
For example, information about the alarm system, changing the gas cylinder, etc.

Georg and I have fulfilled a dream here in Spain—with a lot of hard work and plenty of passion.
To ensure it stays this beautiful, we expect everything to be well-maintained. Water the flowers, keep the pool clean, and ask if anything is unclear.
The only additional cost is when the gas cylinder runs out and a new one needs to be purchased at the petrol station. Spare cylinders are in the outbuilding, where all technical equipment—as well as lounge chairs, a hammock, a grill, gardening tools, a pool cleaner, etc.—is stored.
A final cleaning is included, of course, but no other services are provided.
