If you are looking for a real Tennessee wildlife getaway, this is it.The cabin is roughly a 15 minute drive into Pigeon Forge, not bad at all. The backroads are beautiful, quiet all day with minimal traffic. We were with another family vacationing and there for a sports tournament. Our experience was nice but I do have some feedback coming from a two family stay: The staff supplied enough for a couple days (garbage bags, toiletries, etc) then it was up to guest for remainder of week. It went quick. Also, our main reason for staying in a house was having full access to a washer and dryer. We unfortunately ran into dryer issues, contacted the rental service. They emailed back the following day, but unfortunately, the issue was never resolved. We went our full day without access to the dryer. We went on to try the washer and unfortunately couldn’t use that either. We were very disappointed with the outcome but it is what it is.

Very cute, convenient location, family friendly

The house is cute, needs a little tlc but definitely a comfortable stay for a family. Super quiet at night. The cabins in this neighborhood are spaced out a little more than a lot of the others. Driveway is easily accessible and not on a slope with a covered carport. It was very clean just a little dated. Upstairs shower floor makes noise but doesnt seem to leak. Kitchen was well equipped, but the icemaker doesnt work. Again nice place, very clean, just needs some maintenance. Doesnt have a view of the mountains but is very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Has a cute little creek that runs through the front yard.

Everything was clean the location was perfect. It was so relaxing, hardly any traffic around the cabin. Will most definitely be booking this cabin again in the future for family trips. This could be our home away from home, i woupd recommended booking this cabin. Didnt really want to leave. Decor and supplies was well stocked.

Thanksgiving Family Vacation

Apple Farm cabin was perfect for our family. Everyone enjoyed the pool table, Jacuzzi and just walking around outside. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook our Thanksgiving meal and with two tables, there was room for the grandkids to sit at their own table! We loved the location and we were only minutes away from Pigeon Forge. Loved taking the back roads and seeing the scenery. Can't wait to go back!!!

Ok but not great

The property was ok but was not on the 6 acres it was advertised. The House was nice but there were dead ladybugs all over inside the house. Im not a clean freak but my better half noticed right away. The location was nice and off the beaten path but not too far so that was nice.

Too many problems.

Inaccurate. The listing states Sevierville. The cabin is south of Pigeon Forge, a 35-40 minute drive to Sevierville. No ice and ice maker not working. Only two mismatched wineglasses for 6 adults. Laptop charger left in unit not recovered. Great layout for friends and families. Beautiful foliage. Be prepared for very winding roads to get in and out.

Great place for families!

The Apple Farm was a great place for our family and another family to stay while we visited the Smokey Mountains! The downstairs bedroom with bunks, the pool table, wrap-around deck and expansive yard made it the perfect place to stay with several children. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated, and was what we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch in the peace and quiet that surrounded us (if we got up before the kids!). Our only issue was the very slow Wi-Fi since we had spotty cell service. (Slow Wi-fi seemed to be an end-of-the-month problem relating to GB's that had been used.) Otherwise, we liked everything, including the location - convenient to good tubing, good eats (be sure to try Elvira's Cafe), and not far from the "Secret Entrance to the Smokies" in Wears Valley and our favorite swimming hole, The Sinks! We would definitely consider staying here again.

Family Hot Rod Show Vacation

Cabin was nice. Cleaning could have been better due tobthe icebox and freezer had something red all over the place. Do not depend on the WiFi due to internet wohldnt work due to the aHughes net satellute dish was completely knocked out due to shrubbery block all the signal and couldnt get online for anything. Dont expect tonhave cell service as the 3 major cwll services have no reception at the cabin.. Couldnt use wifi calling due to no internet service. Other than connectivity issues, the cabin was very accomadating and nice.

Smokies Trip

The cabin is very spacious. We had a newborn with us and the upstairs bedroom was perfect to keep her away from our noise and the room was very big to fit her pack and play and stuff. I think it was about a 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge but also close to Gatlinburg too. The only complaint is they should update the listing as it’s no longer secluded there’s a cabin being built across the street and there will be construction on the weekdays. But the cabin is on its own other than that. I did see in some of the other reviews they said the bottom floor has a smell but after the first day we did not notice it anymore. It was just old wood cabin smell. The cabin has a Ms PacMan game we spent an embarrassing amount time playing lol. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful Cabin Beautiful Location but.......................

This is a very beautiful cabin with a very scenic location. Spacious cabin with beautiful floors and walls. BUT if you don't want to have to travel at least 30 minutes to get anywhere do not rent it. We were told only 15 minutes to one location and 20 to the other. Nothing is within 30 minutes. Wanted relaxation and this didn't seem to be to relaxing. As I stated the cabin is large and nice but needs serious attention to the minor details. Not enough towels provided for all week. I have never had to carry towels on vacation. All bathtubs were in a serious need of cleaning and the one upstairs took about 10 minutes to drain after a shower which left mold on our shower curtain, the kitchen sink was dirty. Many light bulbs were out and a couple of the lamps had broken switches. The garage light went out midweek and would not come back on. One rocker on the main floor balcony was a rotten leg. Coffee pot makes coffee but does not heat it. Again, all just minor details. We were also called about repairs being made to hot tub for guest checking in after us to use. We felt this was inappropriate because we had the cabin rented for the week and weren't even using the hot tub. Repairs could be made when guest using it were renting. It is such a shame as this is a remarkable piece of property and a seriously beautiful cabin that such small little things could not be given a little more attention just to give it the little tweak it would take to make it awesome.!!!!

We had a fantastic experience at this property! It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our multi-generational group, and everyone had plenty of room to relax. The beds were super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days exploring. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the large dining room was perfect for gathering together for meals, it really added to the family feel of the trip. The drive up was exactly what you'd expect in the Tennessee mountains, curvy roads and sharp turns, but totally worth it for the spectacular views! The location was ideal, with easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge activities. Whether we were hiking, shopping, or enjoying local attractions, everything was conveniently close. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to others looking for a scenic and comfortable mountain getaway!

Quiet & Convenient Location

Stayed with our family (3) Grandma/Grandpa. Property is convenient to Pigeon Forge/Wears Valley/Gatlinburg on the quiet side of the mountains away from the hustle/bustle of the main strip. The property could use some updating but was serviceable. As a watchout - VRBO identifies the property as having 'free cancelation' which is misleading as they charge you a non-refundable protection fee which is not insignificant.
