Location On the sunny terrace above Matt in Glarnerland - 1250 metres above sea level - 5 minutes from the mountain station of the Weissenberg-Matt cable car - In the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sardona - Almost car-free, as only accessible with a special permit - Magnificent view of the Fryberg, the oldest game reserve in Europe, the sports arena of Elm and partly also of the white arena of Laax.
Living room and kitchen in one room, floor plan 26 m2 - wood central heating - wood and electric cooker - one bedroom (open) with double bed - one bedroom with 2 single beds - small sleeping loft under the roof with 3 mattresses - sitting/shower bath and washing machine in the bathroom - garden seating area with swing.
The Weissenberge are car-free in winter. The house is 440 metres from the top station of the cable car. The cable car runs at least every hour between 730 and 1900 hrs. All other times are also possible on request.
A car licence is available in summer. The journey over a steep, gravelled, narrow mountain road requires good and safe driving skills.
There is always a free car park at the valley station. In summer there is a free car park 80 metres from the house.
