Type of building: semi-detached. The idyllic "Wisli" farmhouse - well over 100 years old - has been lovingly renovated in keeping with its original style, so that the charming character of the hut has been retained. Creaking wooden floorboards and beams, crackling wood in the stove that you heat - in short: pure alpine hut romance! Next door is the stable from the old days. And for the cliché to be complete, the Alpöhi with Heidi and the Geissenpeter would just have to come round the corner :-)
In the "Wisli" you live in a semi-detached house surrounded by greenery, in a quiet, idyllic location with a wonderful view of the symbol of Toggenburg - the Churfirsten: Chäserrugg, Hinderrugg, Schibenstoll and Zuestoll.
This holiday home is ideal for large families, small groups or friendly couples (ideal for 4-6 people). A spacious seating area is included - in summer ready for a barbecue, where the traditional Swiss national sausage - the Cervelat - and the St. Gallen veal sausage are of course a must. Of course, the typical "Dorf-Metzg" is not missing either. Dörfli Stein also has a popular bakery with local specialities as well as a café and a restaurant serving home-style cooking.
The "Wisli" is divided into a large living room with sofa bed and tiled stove, 2 double rooms, 2 single rooms and a large eat-in kitchen with dining area.
Access to the house all year round. The nearest bus stop is a comfortable 8-minute walk away.
Experience the typical mountain village of Stein, an idyllic village of 383 souls, which is nestled in the mountains of the Obertoggenburg. As you approach the village, the majestic Churfirsten peaks catch your eye. Once you arrive, the valley opens up and reveals the view of Speer, Neuenalpspitz, Stockberg and Goggeien, where your holiday home "Wisli" stands right at the foot of this mountain.
You can experience something in Stein! An ideal hiking area awaits you. Follow the course of the River Thur and discover hidden beauties. Or hike along the Dürrenbach stream, which lies 100 metres behind your "Wisli" holiday home. The flood defences that were built at that time are also impressive. Or climb up to the heights and enjoy the marvellous view of the alpine area.
1905 saw the birth of Toggenburg skiing in Stein - on the Häderenberg near Stein, which was promoted by a small ski factory (a local carpenter's workshop) by producing the first skis!
Today, Stein is an attractive starting point for snowshoe and touring skiers, hikers, bikers and paragliders. Thanks to its excellent panoramic views, the Stockberg is a popular destination in both summer and winter.
In short: peace and relaxation on the one hand, and a wide range of leisure activities on the other.
We would like to welcome you to the "Wisli" - the holiday home with the romance of alpine huts in Stein - Toggenburg!

Uhriges Holzhaus mit romant. Flair

Gerne wieder :)
