The holiday home is located in a quiet rural hamlet, in a side street very close to the village square. Castel Cellesi is a hamlet in the municipality of Bagnoreggio and is the perfect place to relax completely.
A barbecue area, fenced and partially covered, is a two-minute walk away. It is equipped with electricity and water connections. There is a large table and chairs. A few steps away is a private park, shared with other owners of the hamlet. The park has a fantastic swimming pool (12 x 8 m) in a panoramic position. By the pool is a private bar with toilets, outdoor shower and Wi-Fi access. Sun loungers and parasols are available in the garden. It is possible to park vehicles on the road in front of the house.
The house is on two levels and can accommodate up to four people. It has been carefully renovated and is particularly cosy, thanks to the exposed beams and terracotta floors. The furnishings are tasteful and embellished with a few antiques. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen-living room (25 m²) with a sofa bed for two persons, a dining table with chairs for eight persons, satellite TV and a usable fireplace (firewood is provided free of charge in the barbecue area). The kitchenette is equipped with an oven, gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, toaster and electric kettle. There is also a bathroom with shower. On the first floor is a large bedroom with a double bed (180 x 190 cm) and a walk-in wardrobe. The bedroom has a large window with a magnificent view of the Umbrian mountains and the Tiber Valley. Another bathroom with shower is located on this level. Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the house. The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. The house is equipped with heating for holiday stays in the colder months. At the back of the house is a laundry room with a washing machine and iron, which can be shared free of charge with the guests of the other two flats, belonging to the same owners.
Castel Cellesi is connected by a provincial road to Civita di Bagnoreggio, a world-famous ancient town perched on a volcanic cliff. In the vicinity of Castel Cellesi are numerous places of artistic and historical interest, such as Orvieto (28 km), Viterbo (28 km), Lake Bolsena, the city of Bolsena, Montefiascone, Tuscania, Tarquinia, the Terme dei Papi in Viterbo and much more. The nearest grocery shop is 100 metres away, while the nearest restaurant and other shops are in Bagnoreggio, 9 km away. Assisi, Todi, Siena, Florence and Rome are easily reachable by car. Tuscany is also renowned for its cuisine and wine.
