Leogang and Saalfelden offer a wide variety of activities all year round. In winter, the Skicircus Saalbach–Hinterglemm–Leogang–Fieberbrunn is easily reached by ski bus, with extensive slopes and winter trails. Cross-country tracks and quiet paths for snowshoe tours are close by.
In summer, hiking and cycling trails lead across alpine meadows and forests to panoramic viewpoints. Popular spots include Lake Ritzensee, the Sonnrain leisure area, via ferrata routes and bike trails on the Asitz. Traditional huts, events and cultural outings to Saalfelden or Salzburg add variety to the region
