Tour the former royal palace, Paleis Het Loo, and stroll through the extensive Baroque gardens. Take a trip to Apenheul Monkey Park and experience animals in a natural setting. Cycle along well-maintained paths through the Veluwe, make use of picnic areas and viewpoints, and enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. Discover the historic city centre of Apeldoorn with its shops, cafés and restaurants, or visit nearby towns such as Deventer with their museums and markets.
