Slightly elevated on a hill on the road between Artà and Capdepera, the exceptionally cheerful Villa Vista Castell awaits us. The two-storey house with partially exposed brickwork, smoothly plastered in places and painted sand-coloured in others, radiates a cheerful and carefree atmosphere, to which the light blue shutters and the location on a large plot of land surrounded by a vineyard also contribute. It will really warm your heart when you enter the villa, which cannot be seen for kilometres thanks to the privacy of the property. The round arches of the windows and covered terraces on the ground floor facing the pool and garden side of the property emphasise the inviting atmosphere of the house. The villa is located on the nearby, occasionally audible country road that connects Artà and Capdepera. Thanks to this road, the beautiful Sa Marjal beach (often only frequented by locals) as well as other beautiful sandy beaches and marvellous bathing bays are within easy reach.



The pretty villa is nestled into the hillside, which is occupied by a vineyard. Due to its elevated position, you can enjoy a marvellous view of Artà and its fortress as well as the pilgrimage church of San Salvador, a landmark of Artà that is also known beyond its borders. The proximity to Artà allows you to explore the picturesque little town on foot. Tuesdays are market day, which is not to be missed: The colourful hustle and bustle and the cheerful market people are an expression of the highest quality of life in the south of the island. Not only at the market, but also in the small alleyways of the village there are numerous nice shops offering typical Mallorcan goods to enjoy or decorate and which can serve as a souvenir of your holiday when you return. If you want to go out in the evening, you will find many good restaurants in Artà, which can also be reached via a short walk through the village. This villa is particularly suitable for holidays with the whole family, groups of friends and anyone looking for peace and relaxation.



The phenomenal distant views of Artà can also be best enjoyed from the spacious pool area. The 10 x 5 metre pool with gentle corner entry is 1.50 metres deep and has a surrounding sun terrace where you can comfortably slide your sun lounger into position and enjoy both the distant view and the image of the village and the surrounding rolling hills of Artà. The pool is fenced to make it safe for children. From the pool you can access the villa's beautifully designed outdoor seating area. The high-quality, covered terrace, which opens out onto the garden and pool, is equipped with a polyrattan furniture set for chilling out as well as an outdoor dining area. Both a mobile and a brick barbecue are available for a relaxed barbecue evening. A huge olive tree in the manicured lawn provides impressive shade. A table tennis table is available for sporting activities.



From the covered corner terrace on the side of the house, you have a third option to enter the house through floor-to-ceiling doors, which are also framed by the aforementioned azure blue shutters. On the ground floor there is a large open-plan room that forms the centre of the pleasant villa. Through the large panoramic window in the living room, you will be overwhelmed by another spectacular view over Artà. In front of the fireplace there is a cosy seating area with 2 more comfortable wicker chairs that invite you to sit and read. In this room there is also a large dining table where all guests can be seated. Behind the dining area is the fully equipped kitchen with rustic wooden décor. In the bright eat-in kitchen there is another dining area at a large oval table. A bathroom on this floor is quite practical for general use. The bedrooms themselves are all located on the upper floor and can be reached via a staircase from the open-plan living area. On the first floor you will discover the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which has a great corner bath. You will also find a walk-in wardrobe and 3 further double bedrooms. There is also a second bathroom on this floor. In each of the sleeping areas, one wall is colourfully painted so that you can enjoy a rich apple green, turquoise or azure blue - a further expression of the cheerful, straightforward style of the fresh Villa Vista Castell.
