Amazing apartment in Colonia de Sant Jordi

Behind the rather inconspicuous façade of the multi-storey building in a prime location, just a few hundred metres from the harbour and harbour beach, lies a modern, purist 3-bedroom ground floor flat with parking on the street. Not a matter of course for a city residence, "Marieta Bajos" opens out to the rear and offers an oasis of relaxation in the middle of the neighbourhood: surrounded by walls, with a small green area and a terrace protected by the next floor, the highlight here is a 10 m long pool. Guests can easily switch back and forth between the beach and "home waters", split up as they please and go their own way. When you're having a barbecue in your open-air alcove with a direct connection to the kitchen, no one will be looking at your plate from above, and one or two sun loungers will also find a shady spot next to the dining table.



In the all-white "Marieta Bajos", you can let your own colours shine and enjoy the pleasant coolness of the rooms. Windows and doors let in light and air (there are also fans and air conditioning), while at the same time the interior clearly withdraws from the outside world. This means you can quickly relax after a day by the sea and are not distracted by any other impressions. Three smaller bedrooms are grouped around the living/dining room with access to the terrace and kitchen. There is a choice of a double bed (1.60 x 2 m) and beds with single mattresses (0.90 x 2 m), recessed wall cupboards create space. Two modern bathrooms with walk-in showers (one en suite) are included, and the outdoor shower can also be used for refreshment. With a washing machine and tumble dryer in an extra room, this holiday apartment is also suitable for beaches, excursions and water sports, even with small luggage.



Blue hours, rosy views and anything but run-of-the-mill: the south inspires with its colours from the Cueva Azul of the Goat Island to the lagoons of Ses Salines and brings out its creative side. The former fishing village of Colònia de Sant Jordi attracts guests who love the water, want to be active or are addicted to the natural beauty of the area. The coastline boasts caves, bays, natural beaches and islets, while the Cabrera marine reserve attracts divers to the rich underwater world. There is always something going on at Platja des Port by the marina, while Platja d'es Dolç, around 2 kilometres away, offers families safe bathing fun. A tapas tour offered in summer takes you to the various restaurants in the village; if you live right in the centre, you can forget the time and, as a pedestrian, allow yourself an extra glass.
