Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations. It is located a short 3-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.

The sandy beach also features tide pools, an estuary perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas (less than 100 meters from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot. Get a beach massage under the tree canopy for $40 “you’re in bliss”!

Tamarindo is a mutli-cultural community where a diversity of cultures converge. English and Spanish are the primary languages. Locals appreciate it when you’re trying to speak Spanish. You will experience lots of surfers walking around with surfboards, or even boards strapped to their bicycles. There is a well-stocked neighborhood grocery store for your needs. Tamarindo is 1 hour drive away from the Liberia Airport or fly into San Jose and take a cheap puddle jumper landing in Tamarindo. It’s easy to arrange shuttles, car rentals, golf carts, and bikes through us with special prices for transportation, and fun stuff, like tours. Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches up and down the coastline.

This 1,600 SqFt Beach Front Cottage on Langosta Beach and is part of Villas Langosta Community, an 11-unit complex located right on the beach. The 1st floor features a full quartz kitchen, well acquainted living room with a 65” flat screen TV, a nice dining area, dining patio, and upgraded bathroom. The primary bedroom on the first floor is acquainted with a queen-sized bed, and large flat screened TV. On the second floor, you will find 2 spacious bedrooms; One with a king-sized bed, TV and futon. The other bedroom offers a queen-sized, and full-sized bed with extra living space. Also, there is a shared full-sized bathroom. Both rooms share an amazing full-sized patio overlooking the beach and floral forest canopy.

Great location and lots of space for our family of 6. Rental management company was very helpful and responsive. This villa is a standalone building and right between the beach and pool. Quiet area but close enough to all of the amenities. Only suggestion is that the kitchen needs more utensils to accommodate for the number of guests it can sleep.

The stay was fantastic. Grounds staff where awesome. The night staff would come and show me the different animals. Racoons and monkeys in tree. A quick 30 secs to watch sunset from the beach. The close proximity to the estuary was great. The front porch was quite hot even with the fans. Higher powered fans may be a good idea if that is what you like.

It is perfect for families or small groups. With 3 BDR's, it sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. Fully equipped it has a/c in every room, a full kitchen, cable tv, internet and washer/dryer. The complex also includes a free parking and a shared pool plus direct access to the beach.

This was a fabulous house at Villa Langosta! Loved the quieter area but still walkable to the downtown of Tamarindo. Beach out the back door was definitely a plus! With the sound of the waves as your background, tropical nature and wildlife around you will taste all the local Pura Vida life of this beautiful area. The condominium is fully furnished and equipped for up to 8 guests. The complex is a secure gated community with free parking, a shared pool, and direct access ot the beach. The distance to the center of Tamarindo is one mile. Renting a car is a plus, especially if you want to explore a bit more of the area around.

This nice beachfront townhouse has the ideal location if you are looking to be a few steps from the beach, close to nature, within proximity to town but not quite downtown yet. This 3 BDR two-story beach condo is comfortable for families and friends. It comes fully equipped. The gated community itself feels like a cozy little neighborhood where everyone is family. We had an amazing time during our week at this condo! Having the beach just steps away was such a treat we enjoyed walking on every morning. The location was perfect for us, away from the busy energy of downtown but close enough that you could easily walk the 20mins there. The grounds staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the resident cats Sir Gato and Sweetie were so adorable to run into! We honestly didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back

Thank you for the nice review. Villas Langosta is one of the few beachfront gated communities in Langosta and unit 1 a comfortable and cozy townhouse right in front of the beach. It is great for families and small groups with capacity for up to 8 people. Fully equipped, the unit has air conditioning in every room, living space and kitchen, laundry facilities, cable tv and internet. With a traditional style the unit is not a luxury condo but a great beach style cottage, cozy and with lots of charm.

Playa Langosta is so beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of Tamerindo. The condo is in a lovely small development and feels safe. Just steps from the gate and onto the beach. The condo is comfortable and well appointed. I loved having the pool and beach options.

You have Mother Nature around you, the sound of the waves as the background music. The beach is your backyard and you will enjoy it for early walks or sunset cocktails. The unit has 3 BDR{s and sleeps 8 people comfortably. T is a cozy beach villa fully equipped with a/c, cable TV, internet, hot water, and a laundry room. You are in a gated community with only 10 units. Very friendly, everybody staying there falls in love and feels home. You are only 5 minute driving distance to the town of Tamarindo or a quick 15 minute walk. Come and stay at Villas Langosta and you will never want to leave!

The property was clean and well-equipped. It was quiet and out of the business of downtown Tamarindo. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants any a quick walk to a good boggie board beach. Great for families!

We had a great time here. The easy beach access meant morning walks along the shore for the grandparents and the pool right outside the door meant it was easy for the kids to swim before we headed out for the day. We rented a golf cart to get into town which worked out well. There’s stores nearby and the condo had everything we needed to get started cooking the day we arrived. We loved the quieter location and would recommend this stay!

We enjoyed the little used pool area and quiet area of the beach outside the gated community. It was a 15-minute walk to the conveniences of town but it was nice to be away from the busyness of Tamarindo. House was well- furnished. Howler monkeys lived in a tree in parking area.

The place was great. Exactly as listed. Lots of room for the whole family, right on the beach for morning walks and evening sunsets. The property managers were very responsive to all of our needs and always got back to us quickly. Bonus: Howler monkeys hung out in the gorgeous mango tree near the pool! Definitely would recommend.

This place exceeded our expectations. You are steps to the ocean and a beautiful beach through the front door and you walked out the back door and you were at the pool. The staff was lovely. Relaxing vacation right on the beach!

Great location away from noise and bustle of Tamarindo but close enough for dining, shopping, etc. Rocky beach right in front so no swimming but quick drive to swim. Villa was spacious, plenty of towels, all necessary appliances and kitchen utensils. Would recommend window coverings for windows facing the pool. Property clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Nice condo with direct beach access and good customer service from host, RPM Vacation Rentals.

We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from our patio and balcony. We were greeted by a family of monkeys in the tree above our patio they day we checked in which was very cool. Condo is well located for visiting several of the beautiful beaches nearby, It was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. A couple items listed in amenities (hair dryer & iron) were not in the condo when we arrived but we reported it to the host who quickly responded and brought us those items.

It is nicely furnished and fully equipped, and has a downstairs patio and upstairs balcony to enjoy the view and wildlife. Villas Langosta is also a great gated community, very secure, relaxing, and close to a little supermarket in Langosta. There are some restaurants nearby as well such as pizza place right across the street. Security at night, share pool, and parking are also part of the amenities and service you will find at this property.

Thank you for the review, Chloe! Villas Langosta is a small gated community right in front of the Langosta beach. Langosta is mmre of volcanic beach with rocks in the sand and water but a wonderful sight to enjoy walks during the day in a natural environment. You can cross the estuary and reach the other side when the tide is low. You will discover a beautiful lonely and sandy beach that you can walk on for miles until Avellanas. This is a 3 BDR cozy townhouse right on the beachfront. You will enjoy the luxurious nature around you and this is why the unit does not offer a view from the lower level but you will still hear the waves and can see the ocean from the second level. The beach gate is also a few steps from the terrace. Because of the proximity to the beach, the sea wildlife is also very present and crabs are part of it too! The unit is fully equipped with a nice kitchen, a small dining space, a large dining table, a/c in every room, Cable TV in the living room, a washer and dryer, and 3 BDR's of which one is on the lower floor and two on the second. Great for families and friends, this beach spot is also perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Great location, great neighbors

Overall the stay was great. The property is in a great location. It's a quiet spot but near enough to walk to restaurants.. the apartment is nicely equipped and things functioned as try should. Beds were comfortable. Just a couple things i hope get fixed. There were bees and crabs that kept getting in. I think due to a large gap in the door. Also the upstairs bathroom has windows strategically placed just above the toilet with no covering and a direct view to the apartment building and the public walkway to the beach.! We put towels up to two to block the view but it was not ideal.

Its location is fantastic as there si nothing between you and the beach. You can have breakfast at the sound of the waves form the outside porch or yu can enjoy the daily sunset show from the bedroom balcony upstairs. The condo is great for families with kids or friends with nice common spaces but also 3 independent bedrooms. The condo is fully equipped with a/c in every room, cable TV and internet, a full kitchen and laundry amenities. This small gated community has a free parking and shared swimming pool. It is also located only 1 mile form the center of Tamarindo which is the town where most of the shops and restaurants are. Because you are so close to the beach and Langosta offers a lot of nature around, the wild life is part of the experience. Crabs are around and often visit the ground floors :)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome unit, was a comfortable size for a family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of towels, and hot water. Washer and dryer were a huge plus. Would suggest putting a safety strip on the upstairs area that steps down....where you least expect. RPM was awesome, place was beautifully maintained, pool was very refreshing, and we particularly enjoyed that it was not in the sun in the afternoon as we needed some respite after swimming on the beach, security and gardener both brought us a couple of delicious mangos. We will be going back, hopefully soon!!!!
