Imagine waking up and going to sleep in this beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath oceanfront condominium/apartment. Built in 2007 and remodeled in March 2017. This oceanfront property will be your favorite vacation spot every year. This oceanfront property has beautiful granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, and all kitchen amenities to help you feel as if you are at home. Beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards await. All you need for this dream vacation is clothes and food. The condo/apartment is on the 3rd floor with it's own private balcony and barbecue. The beautiful beach is steps away from your own private entry. It comes complete with cable television and internet. Each bedroom has its own private shower. The condo has all of the amenities to make you feel at home. The master bedroom faces two french glass doors that overlook the Pacific ocean and features a queen size bed with sunken tub and separate double head shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed set, the bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. The final bedroom features a full size bed sleeping two, dresser, and nightstand. The bathroom in the third bedroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Living area has a full size sofa sleeper. Electric fireplace in Living room and Master bedroom. 1 tandem parking space included, which will accommodate 1 large or 2 small vehicles. If you have more than 2 large vehicle's , there is another option for parking for an additional fee.

Great location. Enjoyed visiting with adult friends on patio while watching the beach. Everything we needed for meal prep. Plenty space and bathrooms for 6 senior women. Stairs to condo may be a problem if someone had difficulties.

My morning coffee has never been so pleasant.

This place is very nice. If you have a larger vehicle you won’t be able to park at the property but you can park at Belmont Park overnight and it’s just a short walk away. If you have a smaller vehicle this is 5 stars

Super awesome place ! ! All of our family loved it , kids had the best time , you can literally watch them from the kitchen window if you want , view was amazing, balcony relaxing is the best here ! What we liked is that it’s just far enough from the Belmont park parking lot where it’s not over crowded on the beach , this whole “busy” weekend with it being Mother’s Day and all , beach looked empty for the most part and that was really cool! The landlords here are very nice as well! Complete private stairway entry , just get ready for “leg day” coming up and down those stairs ! We can’t really find anything to complain about , it’s a beautiful beach house and everything worked properly inside the house as well ! We will most definitely stay here again with our family !

Fantastic spot and location

Kids Birthday Trip

Monica’s home is wonderful! We came for my son’s birthday and it was easy to get everywhere from here. From the airport, to Sea World to driving around, everything was so close! We walked to dinner every night as well. So many wonderful restaurants in either direction.She also has everything you need for the beach which was so helpful when you have young kids. We just walked right down there from the condo and found a spot to sit for the day. The condo has plenty of room for a family of 4 and friend who came with and had their own space.The outside patio was used everyday and was amazing! We will be back- Thank you so much Monica for having us and for being so kind!!

Paradise on the Pacific

The condo was absolutely lovely - clean, and well stocked with kitchen amenities, towels, beach accessories and extra linens. It looks like the owners recently purchased a new grill so was able to take advantage of that throughout my stay. It was nice to open the windows and fall asleep to the ocean sounds. The host provided everything needed to feel comfortable and was very quick to respond to any questions. I see there have been some upgrades with a new fire place and new comforters. The host stocked us with a cold bottle of wine upon arrival which was nice after the long flight. Excellent location and only a 5-minute walk to Belmont Park but far enough from any noise that Belmont has. There is plenty of local cute shops and restaurant options also within walking distance. We only had one car but it does look like the space is large enough for two cars. We had a sedan and had no issues with the parking. We come here every year and we will be staying here again!

My stay at Ocean Front was nothing short of idyllic. The sound of crashing waves lulled me to sleep each night, the views were postcard-perfect, and the location provided easy access to all the action I craved. I will be returning!

Great beach house!

Great location, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our party of 8. We were able to park a jeep Rubicon and a rental sedan tandem without trouble. (Good parking skills a must!) Kids had a blast playing at the beach and enjoyed the sand toys/boogie boards available for use We all had a great time celebrating our USD graduate!

Family vacation

The kids said this was the best family vacation ever lol. The house was very nice, awesome views of the ocean, and it’s so nice to sleep listening to the waves. You have everything you need here, even for the kids to play with stuff at the beach. The parking is really tight, but it is possible, we have a Kia Carnival and was able to get it in and out. Thanks for letting us stay here we had a great time.

Beautiful & Relaxing

I have grown up going to Mission Beach! This stay was everything I hoped it would be and more. To be in that stress free environment; being lulled to sleep by the ocean, and wake up to the waves crashing was heaven. To walk out the door and stay down at the beach as long as you like...amazing! Looking out the big picture window during sunset was a dream. And the balcony in the evening was magic. I will definitely stay here again (and again after that)!!!

Sisters trip retirement and 60th birthday

We had a wonderful stay. Best part was location, location, location. Right on the beach. There were 6 of us. Plenty of sleeping space and even better each room was had an en suite. Also a powder room. With 6 ladies that’s important😊. Good contact with the host and easy instructions for checking in and out. A little grimy but understand as we were on the beach. We had a blast.

Great views but lacking!

The place had a light of some kind out in every room, as well as the master bedroom lock was broken. The main door to the property was broken as well. The parking suggests room for two vehicles, but they better be small economy vehicles to fit in the parking spot. Gate was beautiful for parking but it squeaked as you opened it to awaken everyone and the neighbors. Dog was always barking down stairs and the apartment smelled of marijuana that was coming from downstairs.

There is no patio. There is a balcony that sits about 6. There is propane fire pit thingy that did not work. The balcony is dirty. There is a very small BBQ that clearly has not been cleaned for years. There was zero propane. On day 3 the landlord messaged me that she was dropping off a propane tank at the front door. I dragged it up 3 flights of stairs and hooked it up myself. The entry to the house is in the back ally. You CAN NOT get the beach through the front of the house. You walk down the 3 flights of stairs down the back ally and walk a couple houses down to an outlet to the board walk. The washer sounds like it has boulders. There was also plenty of mold in the rubber gaskets we cleaned. The back room has a closet shower. Not too big of deal but it is an awkward transition to get into it as the door was an after thought. But at least that back shower doesn’t smell like vomit and the dirty dish rag like the middle shower does. We wore flip flops in the shower as the floor was slimed. The narrow parking spot that is advertised should not be advertised as a parking spot. The property has a full size 2 car garage full of trash. You have to park on the street and set your alarm to go move your car every morning to avoid an 85 ticket. There was dog crap all over the bottom patio and hundreds of old dog toys piled up. There is no way to lock the entry way and 300 worth of stuff got stolen. Just bad. Not as advertised. Pics of dog crap attached.

Beautiful view from balcony, great location.

Great location, our stay was relaxing "after lugging our luggage up 3 flights of stairs". We definitely got a workout. Rental has an elevator but the access to elevator but the access to use it was locked. The master bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable as the middle of the bed sunk in leaving you in an awkward position when sleeping and some of the fans didnt work (no AC) so its very recommended that you take fans when staying here. Also there's no storage for belongings as the master closet was locked and all other bedroom closets were filled with a bunch of miscellaneous stuff and had no hangers. Parking was also an issue we took a truck and utility vehicle so we had to find alternative parking away from our location. The parking available at the condo was too small to fit our vehicles Other than a few issues we had a wonderful relaxing stay.

Overall good stay

The best part is the location and having 3 rooms each with their own bathroom plus a half bath. I was disappointed with a few things: limited hot water, I had lukewarm showers. The middle bedroom does not have blinds, there’s a home right next door with windows so not sure if they could see in. No access to the closets to hang clothes. The fans in the rooms were very dirty. One of the remotes for the TV didn’t work. And the drawers and utensils weren’t the cleanest.

Beautiful views but not as picture perfect as described

Amazing ocean views and good communication with the property manager. However I would not recommend this property for the following reasons. - the parking spot advertised does not fit a standard car. Unless you have a golf cart, fiat or smart car- the space is too narrow. Our car was badly damaged trying to park, I would not recommend trying. The width of the spot is not large enough to fit the width of a standard car. - hidden fees. We drove around for an hour looking for street parking- which we finally found stret parking about a quarter mile from home.The property manager later gave us her parking spot for an extra daily fee paid via venmo. - lack of kitchen items and cleanliness. All pans were badly scratched- tephlon falling off- so not usable. 1 pot was safe to use. Dirty silverware and dishes were found in kitchen cabinets. - oven did not work. Property manager said the oven was recently fixed, but it did not work during our stay. This was a hindrance since we bought food to cook in the oven. - Water temperature in main bedroom shower only came out as cold or very hot. There was no temperature control and the shower floor was granite so not ideal. I am pregnant so falling/ slipping was a big concern. - Overall cleanliness of apartment was subpar. Closets were stuffed with objects that we had to move to hang clothes. Many drawers inside were dirty, some windows did not open. - keep in mind for the beautiful view there are some compromises.

Great Location, but not as described

The view is AMAZING!! I could sit on the patio and look at the ocean all day. The location on Mission Beach is ideal. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of amusement area to be fairly quiet most of the time. Pacific Beach is less than a mile walk. There was always room at the beach in front of the condo. A bathroom for each bedroom was nice. Bedding was good. Towels were provided. Monica was responsive to questions. As mentioned in previous reviews, specifically Tama L. March 2022: While superficially clean when we got there, there was substantial dust and grime on the top of cabinet doors, window sills, kitchen cabinets, fans, etc. The dishes were wet when we got there. The dishwasher was grimy. There were hairs in the fridge and freezer and also in the bathtub. My wife spent the first hour we arrived cleaning. While there are granite countertops throughout the condo, it could use a new coat of paint, as the walls were scuffed in many areas. There are no curtains/blinds in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We were surprised to walk out of the main bath into the bedroom and see the neighbors in their kitchen through the bedroom window. Blinds or curtains would be a great addition so you don’t have to duck and cover. The parking spot is very TIGHT. We tried to pull in front first but got stuck and damaged the side of our rental car. Backing in was much better, but it still took someone outside the car helping. You can’t open both the driver and passenger side doors to exit; someone had to jump to the other side. We had a midsize crossover-an average sized vehicle. Plan accordingly. The patio furniture in the pictures is much nicer than what is provided. Our furniture, while functional, did not accommodate as many people as the pictures would indicate, and appeared to be of inferior quality. The patio table provided is much smaller than the picture and does not have an umbrella. The dining room table and chairs inside are also smaller and appear to be of lower quality. There is no easy chair as in the pictures either. We were a family of four and other than sitting at the dining table, there was no space to just hang out together. And while there isn’t a “private” walkway to the beach, the public access is a very short walk down the alley. With a little TLC, this property could be a 5-star plus. The location can’t be beat. Despite a few drawbacks, we did have a very good time.

We had a great time again. We have stayed here twice now. We definitely missed the table on the patio for sunset dinner but we enjoyed the patio still. Location is so great for Belmont which we go to every night for rides etc. We had everything we needed besides tupperware. Not sure why guests take those or ruin them for other people (I'm a host in AZ) so that was frustrating but we love staying here and will be back again in two years

Great location with direct access to the beach. Great views from the kitchen window and the outside deck. Bedrooms are comfortable and updated as are bathrooms. Kitchen is fairly well stocked. Easy check-in and very responsive host. Lots of beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys. Living/dining area feels "tired" and needs deep cleaning and a "refresh". Ditto the deck furnishings. Available parking spot is very tight. A few small improvements would go a long way to making this a topnotch spot!

Great location

We had a good time. Felt that the property was clean and taken care of. Agree with some of the reviews with regards to the beds being a little bit uncomfortable but for the most part a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. We like the third floor, the first floor would have no privacy and we were happy with the location. You will have to drag some luggage upstairs but for us it wasn't that big of a deal. Couldn't get any more convenient with regards to beach location. Public transportation was smooth from this location every place we went. Would be happy to stay here again.

Overall it was just ok. Pros:Location was excellent for beach and Mission Point activitiesBalcony area was excellent!! 5 stars! Relaxing, wonderful with the fire pit, great view of the beach and dolphins swimming by.The number of beds/baths were perfect for our groupThe owner was quick to respond and accomodating with any issues we had during our stayChairs, boogie boards and more were available for the kids to use. They enjoyed them very muchCons:Tennants below had dog(s) and the smell of urine and feces was ripe on certain days when we were out on the balcony, or walking up the stairs to access our rooms.There are stairs - not that this is horrible, just know that all luggage will have to be take up the stairsNo AC - although it was relatively cool while we were there, it was muggy a night or two, and an AC unit would have helped with the humidityPictures are not recent - the pictures of the unit are beautiful, but in perspn it obviously has signs of wear and tear. Not a terrible thing - but be aware it is not newly refurbishedThird bedroom bathroom is very small, and the shower is awkward. We ended up using only the first two bathrooms the entire week Parking - might as well say there is NO parking at this house. It was only big enough for us to back in our vehicle, but not to open the doors. We had to crawl out the trunk to get in and out. I don't think there is any type of vehicle that could make parking here easily accessible. (We had a land rover)

I raised my children in the small home that was here at this location. My children learned to surf in front of this house. I work at a large hospital in the area. I bought the property in 2001. I have lived here since 2001. I live in the lower portion of the condo/Apartment with my daughter and I simply can not imagine living anywhere else. We have so many wonderful family memories of our Mission Beach home that I hope your family can make family memories as we have. Watching the dolphins play and ride the waves in front of my home still amazes me. This is and will always be my home, as was the first owners before me that lived in the original home that was here before. I am very knowledgeable of the San Diego area.

Why they chose this property

One word ...... Ocean Front. You should choose this property because the location is perfect. The location of the condo is difficult for beach goers to park. The large parking lots are a great distance for beach goers to drag beach gear, so the beach is always available to me. I never have many beach goers on the beach area in front of my home. The other great thing is that I take great care with this property and make sure that everything is clean and well maintained. Everything is new; Not to mention the ocean view.

What makes this property unique

The property has been recently remodeled and furnished well. I take pride in my property. This is more than a rental, this is my place and is a representation of myself.
