We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this lovely cabin. It was a relaxing homebase for visiting Duffy’s for the Swamp People weigh-in, Houma House for a historical tour, and Morgan City for the Shrimp Festival! Great trip!!The residence was comfortable, well appointed, and had the technology we needed for the work we had to do.
I absolutely loved our stay at the "Little Cajun"! The cabin was perfect for our trip. The hosts were amazing and we even got to go on a personal swamp tour with Mr. Eddie. It's perfect for someone looking for a real "Cajun" experience! Very quiet little town and the people there are the best. Only thing negative is the fact that we had to leave. Will definitely be staying there again!

Thank you for your wonderful review! Looking forward to having y'all again!
From the first contact with the hosts, everything about this cabin is an absolute joy. Located in a wonderfully quiet area that dares you to not slow down and relax for a bit. Ample parking and room to either enjoy the shade of the porch or a romantic swing for two on the private dock right across the street. The cabin is thoughtfully outfitted with everything you might need to make your stay perfect.
This is one of the nicest VRBO's I've stayed in. Cozy, spotless and quiet. The owners are super friendly and they don't have a huge list of check out chores. Will def stay again.
We had a lovely stay in Pierre Part. The surroundings and location are perfect to take in the charms of the bayou. Eddie and Marilyn and wonderful hosts and you can't ask for a better guide for swamp tours area than Eddie. The cabin itself is a great space and fully equipped. We met great people in Pierre Part! Id recommend to everyone !

Thank you for your heartfelt review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! Eddie has not stopped talking about your swamp tour and what great guests y’all were. Hope you have a safe trip home!
The Little Cajun Cabin is located in the quaint Cajun town of Pierre Part. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable. There is plenty of private parking. This cabin is next to the water and has a covered pavilion with a swing and picnic table. It was so enjoyable to sit and watch the local fishermen pass by. Feeling very safe, we walked to a nearby store (10 min walk) and just a 3 min walk to the nearby church. The area is perfect to view the swampy areas of South Louisiana.
We stayed in the house boat because of the hurricane canceled our first trip and the cabins weren't available they offered the house boat, it was wonderful. Would go back again.

Beautiful cabin built of reclaimed wood. Feels like home. Everything you need is in the cupboards. Devore is lovely and extremely tasteful. Comfortable bed in a beautiful frame with real quilts. Stayed 4 nights. Hated to leave!
We could not have asked for better accommodations…..
Cabin was extremely comfortable and clean and had plenty room for boat and trailer.
Owners made sure all was good and very easy to communicate with!!
Plus there is great place to clean your catch.
Dock on the water was super convenient with a boat launch within walking distance.
Of course Lake Verret showed off big time yesterday (5/4/2024) with all the gators, bald eagles and other birds and wildlife.
Definitely a place to stay at again!!

We live in South Louisiana and absolutely love it! We are married and have three adult children and three grandchildren. Since we built our cabins, we have met so many interesting people from as far away as Canada, Germany, France and Australia. We are looking forward to meeting many more and can't wait to help you enjoy and explore our beautiful state.
Why they chose this property
We love South Louisiana, because our way of life is very unique. Within a very short driving distance, there are so many places to see and adventures to experience. Louisiana is often referred to as 'Sportsman's Paradise.' This is so true!
