Charming Mexican Beach Property

Girls’ Trip!

We had an amazing time and loved this place! Beautiful views, very clean, cozy and safe. We loved the community jacuzzi and the brewery across the street was great and we enjoyed the live music. We all want to come back!

Great Stay

Very cute place, just like the photos with great views of the water. Kristi lives upstairs with her cute dog so she was accessible if we needed and was helpful when we needed to find a place for our vehicle after we checked out.

The decor is as authentic as you can get. Amazingly beautiful Spanish decor. The ocean view was breathtaking. Would absolutely recommend staying here!!!! I will definitely be back!!

Kristi was very kind and gracious, and very knowledge about Mexico . The home was beautiful and I love all the detailed touches to the house, the house felt like a home. I’ve stayed in this community before, but this stay was the best stay yet ! I definitely recommend !

Awesome Setting

Beautiful vistas and a very nice and attentive host. We had 5 family members down for a wedding. Kristi was very accommodating and gave us lots of tips before our visit. I highly recommend her house to anyone planning a stay in the area.

Fun, Stress Free, and Relaxing Holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Kristi’s home in Las Gaviotas! The house was very comfortable and charming. We enjoyed waking up, sipping coffee on the deck with ocean views, and taking a short walk for a nice morning surf. My two sons (age 17 and 18.5), myself, and my wife really enjoyed the location and tranquility. We also enjoyed making simple meals (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in the well appointed and clean kitchen. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Incredible experience!

We had an incredible time staying at Kristi's home! The house is so beautiful and Kristi's tile work is truly a work of art. The kitchen and whole home has all the amenities you need. You feel completely safe on the Los Gaviotas property and we had a great time hanging at the beach, porch, and pool area. We definitely will visit again!!!!

The neighborhood was beautiful right next to the ocean. It was very safe and comfortable. The house was full of charm. The only thing you need to recognize is that the area could be cool weatherwise. We went in early July and had to break out sweatshirts and sweatpants!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay in this warm and inviting designers showcase home. Kristi's has beautiful taste and is a excellent tile designer. Every part of this home is well appointed and visually stunning. The views are spectacular and Las Gaviotas should be on everyone's bucket list.

Pleasant Surprise!!

This is one of the nicest communities I have been to in North Baja. Once you enter the gates, you feel as if you are back in the states. The house is exactly as depicted in the photo's, and very comfortable. The walk along the ocean is beautiful, and the private beach is perfect.

Best beach house in Rosarito

Omg this place was amazing. The beach house was rustic with traditional Mexican decorations inside yet very modern. The community is gated, quiet and has a pool, jacuzzi, private beach and even a fish taco and smoothie stand. We felt so safe and relaxed here. The owner lives above us which I preferred having her close by cause she answered all my questions via text asap. The house itself was stunning and spacious. Rooms were big, shower pressure was great, view of the ocean was a total plus. Can’t wait to stay again.

Amazing winter getaway

This was our second time to Las Gaviotas, our first time staying in Kristie's place. Everything was just great. Her place was super clean, very nicely decorated and well-stocked with everything you could want or need. (Love the CD and DVD collections!) The view is amazing! The whole community is lovely, very safe and secure. The security guards are friendly and were incredibly helpful in setting up a visit to the Cuatros Cuatro winery. The community is also in a great location, not far from the Calimex grocery, Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo and other attractions. Kristie was super friendly and accommodating throughout our entire stay. We highly recommend a stay here and will hopefully be back again in the future.

“Hecha en Mexico.” Raised in Huntington Beach, CA, I was born into a family of world travelers who in 1952, lived in Brownsville, TX. I can actually say, 'Soy hecha en México” as I was conceived across the border in Saltillo, MX!

As an avid traveler, I have visited over 30 countries which ultimately led me to explore Baja Norte, and Las Gaviotas. Casa de los Sueños, my House of Dreams was purchased in 2002.

I am an established interior designer. My passion for creating environments that nourish the soul, especially using Mexican tiles, was rewarded with the cover and feature article in Baja Lifestyle and Phoenix Home & Garden Magazines.

For those new to Las Gaviotas, you can see the many 'visible signs' of my gifts to the community - through the tiling of the many fountains; special tiled benches; the back splash in the homeowners lounge, Administration Office, and the beautiful tile work in the Clubhouse. My commitment to maintaining the beauty of Las Gaviotas is reflected in my volunteer work on the Design and Beautification Committees.
