This modernly furnished holiday rental impresses not only with its attention to detail but, above all, with its breathtaking panoramic view stretching from the inland lake and the old town all the way to the Baltic Sea.
The light-filled living area features a cosy sofa nook and a flat-screen TV. Adjacent to this is the dining area and the balcony with a fantastic panoramic view. The sleeping area is tucked away in the back of the living area and features a comfortable double bed (approximately 180 x 200 cm) and a spacious closet. An additional sleeping area is located in the separate bedroom.
Free Wi-Fi is available during your stay. Use of the complex’s shared car park is also included. Bicycles can be parked next to the house. The Baltic Sea holiday park is located at the western end of the inland lake and offers a wonderful holiday setting, especially for families. Playgrounds (indoor and outdoor) are right on your doorstep. Restaurants, a bakery, and—for the more athletic guests—a fitness centre can also be found in the immediate vicinity. There are also two bike rental shops in the holiday park. The beach is an easy five-minute walk away, and there’s a great hiking trail leading to the cliffs—depending on the season, you might spot Galloway cattle and their calves there.
Our charming old town is just under 2.5 km away—the best way to get there is to stroll along the inland lake promenade right into the heart of the city. With its traditional fishing harbour, numerous shopping options, delicious restaurants, the “Graswarder” nature reserve, the beautiful beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our little harbour town has a lot to offer.
You can conveniently park your car in the complex’s large shared car park—and feel free to leave it there. In the summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen “Bimmelbahn” (tourist train) runs, allowing you to quickly reach the town, the harbour, or the beach—or you can simply rent a bike from the local bike rental shop. This gives you great flexibility. In general, Heiligenhafen is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike straight to Fehmarn.
