We had this accommodation in summer. It was perfectly placed, within about 30 min drive from the Schluchsee and the Titisee and the cable car to the Feldberg, and with various hiking routes around the corner. Host Max was very quick and helpful in responding to requests and the information we got was very complete. The sauna worked fine too (yes, it was summer but we still used it). The apartment had a washing machine but the shared dryers were often occupied, so we hung out the clothes outside to dry. If you don’t mind (or like) being outside of the touristic humdrum and have your own transportation this can be a great spot from where to explore the southern Black Forest. The apartment was brand new when we were there in summer 2026.
