The holiday home is located in the popular former artists’ quarter of Ahrenshoop, making it a fantastic spot right by the sea. The beautiful Baltic Sea beach is just a few steps away. A bakery, supermarket, fresh fish market, bike rental, and the art museum are also just a few minutes’ walk away. The surroundings combine nature, art, and the special charm of this Baltic Sea resort in a wonderfully relaxed way.

“Die Große Rotbuche” welcomes you with a stylish yet cosy atmosphere. On the ground floor, you’ll find a modern bathroom with a sauna and shower, as well as a spacious living and kitchen area with access to the terrace. Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, the living area feels particularly bright and welcoming. The cosy sofa, the TV area, and the large dining table invite you to spend relaxing hours with family or friends. The open-concept kitchen is located on the opposite side and is equipped with everything you could want on holiday. You’ll even find a Thermomix here.

The stairs lead you to the upper floor. Here, three lovingly furnished bedrooms await you. Two feature double beds, a closet, and a TV. Another bedroom has a bunk bed that can be pulled out to form a double bed. The spacious main bathroom with a bathtub provides additional comfort.

The outdoor area delights with plenty of greenery, a large terrace, a cosy beach chair, and a garden. A wonderful place to enjoy the fresh Baltic Sea air and wind down your holiday in a relaxed atmosphere. The holiday home includes two parking spaces.

Alles war gut, aber die Straßen rund um die Große Rotbuche sind gewöhnungsbedürftig. Leider fast kein Licht und die tiefen Schlaglöcher machen eine Abendspaziergang zu eine richtige Abenteuer.

Die „Große Rotbuche“ ist das wohl schönste Ferienhaus, das wir bisher an der Ostsee erleben durfte..

Die „Große Rotbuche“ ist das wohl schönste Ferienhaus, das wir bisher an der Ostsee erleben durften. Das Haus wurde offensichtlich mit viel Liebe hochwertig renoviert und verbindet stilvolles, modernes Wohnen mit dem authentischen Charme Ahrenshoops. Besonders gefallen haben uns die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die typischen Ahrenshooper Kunstwerke – darunter sogar einige Originaldrucke. Auch die Lage ist wunderbar: Nur etwa 200 Meter vom Strand entfernt, Edeka sowie eine Fischtheke sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Der herrliche Garten mit seinem alten Baumbestand – natürlich inklusive der großen Rotbuche, die dem Haus seinen Namen gibt – bietet viel Platz und eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Der einzige kleine Punkt, den man eventuell verbessern könnte, wäre der vergleichsweise kleine Kühlschrank. Aber selbst mit drei Kindern und täglichem Kochen sind wir letztlich gut zurechtgekommen. Da keine Wäscheklammern vorhanden waren, haben wir welche gekauft und für die nächsten Gäste im Haus gelassen. Ebenso haben wir Kaminholz besorgt, das wir dann doch nicht gebraucht haben – vielleicht ist die Hausverwaltung so freundlich, zumindest ein paar Scheite für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt aufzubewahren. Alles in allem haben wir uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt, jeden einzelnen Urlaubstag genossen und das Haus direkt für das kommende Jahr wieder gebucht. Das sagt eigentlich alles – wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unsere Rückkehr!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Nespresso Kapselmaschine war super für schnellen Kaffeegenuss. Alle Betten waren bequem. Die ruhige Lage des Hauses war perfekt,ein eingezäuntes Grundstück, mit ganz viel Grün war besonders für unsren Hund das Beste. Zum Meer sind es 5min Weg. Frische Brötchen bei Edeka l 10 min. Die Terasse ist neu und war unser Lieblingsplatz ,vor allem der wunderschöne Strandkorb. Was wir gerade für den Sommer praktischer finden würden,wenn man den Aussenwasserhahn benutzen könnte. So wären die sandigen Füsse oder Schuhe einfacher und unkomplizierter zu reinigen. Was bequemer wäre ,ein größerer Kühlschrank auf Augenhöhe. Für eine Woche Aufenthalt sind wir mit der Kühlung etwas an unsre Grenzen geraten. Hatten aber eine Kühlbox mit und haben diese für Getränke genutzt. Alles in allem ist die grosse Rotbuche ein tolles Ferienhaus,wo man sich sofort heimisch fühlt und es an nichts fehlt. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Ahrenshoop.Vielen Dank.
