The most beautiful alarm clock in the world: From your bed, your first glimpse of the day is of the Baltic Sea. This special detail makes the second-floor apartment a favourite among couples—wake up, see the sea, be happy.

Start your day on the balcony with breakfast and fresh Baltic Sea air; in the evening, you’ll be drawn to the fireplace in the living room. The sleeper sofa provides a third sleeping spot if needed, while the separate sleeping area ensures peace and quiet—even when an early riser and a late sleeper are travelling together.

The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave with baking function, and coffee maker, gives you complete independence. If you’d like to skip doing the dishes, take a seat at the “La Residenza” restaurant on the ground floor—enjoy pizza and pasta without leaving the building—or savour breakfast at the nearby bakery.

Underfloor heating and high-quality designer vinyl flooring keep the apartment warm all year round. In winter, the view of the Baltic Sea from your bed becomes even more magical—when the morning fog hovers over the water and the fireplace is already waiting for you.

The Karlshagen Beach Residence is located right on the beach on the sunny island of Usedom, separated from the white, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach only by the dunes. Right on the beachfront in the quiet northern part of the island, 12 bright, lovingly furnished holiday apartments ranging from 26 to 104 m² await you—all of which were extensively renovated in 2020/21.

Many apartments feature a private balcony with a view of the Baltic Sea and a fireplace—perfect for cosy evenings while the waves crash outside. The apartments feature stylish furnishings, comfortable double beds, a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator), as well as satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

Ideal for families: The flat, child-friendly sandy beach begins right outside the door. On the ground floor, our pizzeria La Residenza treats guests to Italian specialities, ice cream, and cocktails. Playgrounds and the bakery with fresh rolls are less than 20 metres away.

Perfect for couples: Enjoy romantic sunsets from the balcony, relax in the evening by the crackling fireplace, and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. In the off-season, Karlshagen offers soothing tranquility with deserted beaches and crisp sea air. The Baltic Sea spas in Ahlbeck and Zinnowitz are easily accessible.

Dogs Welcome: Karlshagen offers two designated dog beaches, both within walking distance of the residence. Behind the dunes, expansive coastal forests invite you to take long walks. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome in select apartments (8.50 per night). The tiled and vinyl floors are ideal for sandy paws.

The property features a lockable bike storage room with an outlet for charging e-bikes, parking spaces right next to the building, and a wide range of recreational activities in the immediate vicinity: boat and fishing trips, sailing, surfing, tennis, horseback riding, as well as the Peenemünde Historical-Technical Museum and the Trassenheide Butterfly Park.

All apartments are non-smoking. Bed linens and towels can be added to your booking for 20 per person per stay. Operating costs are included in the final cleaning fee.
