Stunning retreat, great for one to two families. This private home in a gated community has incredible hiking trails within steps of the front door. Walk down the road for your view of the New River Gorge Bridge. Your abode boasts of vaulted ceilings in the living room and master bedroom on the main floor, as well as a well equipped kitchen that can accommodate 10 (6 at the table and four at the bar). Upstairs, the kids will enjoy two sets of bunk beds, sharing a bathroom with the second bedroom that has another queen bed. Your private back yard is complete with a large deck, set up for dining al fresco. WiFi, Dish, DVDs and books. We love the beauty of the New River Gorge, the plethora of outdoor adventure choices in the area, and hiking the miles of trails. We most enjoy bringing our three little girls here for 'woods walking'.
Why they chose this property
We named this property after a nearby trail, the Kaymoor Trail. The two parts of the trail together make for a vigorous hike - especially if you choose to take the 810 steps to the bottom of the mine (and then have to take that same 810 steps back up!).
As far as the location of the home, we've visited the area a number of times and love the small town of Fayetteville, white water rafting, zip-lining, and especially hiking - the fact that we can go for a hike by walking out our front door and be at an NPS trail is the best!
This house is great for 2 families, and this property is close to the white water rafting and zip-lining. And if jumping off a bridge is your thing, or if you want to just watch the other crazy people, you'll get a great view from the neighborhood overlook.
Enjoy the quite back yard, grill out, and eat on the spacious back deck.

What makes this property unique
Hiking trails in the neighborhood, designed for two families (basement to be finished, but we don't know when yet). Short drive to white water rafting & zip-lining. Watch bridge day from the neighborhood.
I can't wait to sit on the front porch and enjoy the nature and feeling like I'm in a treehouse.
I love to cook, so I'm working on getting all those little things to make the kitchen highly functional when you're away from yours. Haven't figured out how to get the kitchen to clean itself though.
The furniture is an eclectic mix. Some of the furniture is antique, and some we've made reusing wood palates - we hope you'll enjoy the rustic touches.
I can't wait to sit on the front porch and enjoy the nature and feeling like I'm in a treehouse.
