Convenient place to stay

This was a lovely place to stay - close enough to the French Quarter to easily walk there, but just far enough off the busy streets to be quiet at night.

House was perfect and quaint and in a great location. Exactly as described.

We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed being in walking distance to so many things. We liked being in a local neighborhood. Neighborhood noise is noticeable at night, but that is also part of what is to love about NOLA.

October getaway

Our stay at the Bohemian Bungalow was fantastic! The arrival instructions were clear, concise, and super easy to follow. The house looks exactly like the photos, and we loved how cozy and cheerful the place was. The neighbourhood was great - lots of cute little restaurants and bars within walking distance, plus the French Quarter was a nice short walk away. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, amazing locaiton!

The house was absolutely gorgeous, well equipped, very clean, and very comfortable to live in. It really felt like coming home. Also the location was unbeatable, easy walk to Frenchman street, and not too long a walk into the Quarter. Wouldn't have changed a thing, and will definitely recommend it to friends/family. Hope to come back soon.

Nice Property

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We did not go upstairs as the stairs were too steep and no hand railing. We walked everywhere and it was located close to Frenchman Street and the Quarter. Good neighborhood bars and plenty to do.

Great location and comfortable home. The owner was very responsive. There were damp towels left for us and when we put them in the dryer that was full. Also a sock on the.floor left behind. Great place tho, worked well for 4 adults!

The perfect place for a NOLA trip!

We absolutely loved our stay, and Liz was amazing - incredibly responsive and helpful. The home is beautiful and a work of art on its own with storied furniture pieces and art. You'll feel right at home. The neighborhood is walkable to so many things, including the French Quarter and street cars - and while a little up and coming - we felt safe, even with children. I think Liz describes the attic loft space and stairs very accurately and made sure we were comfortable. My teenage daughter LOVED the space and balcony outside. Next time I'm in NOLA, I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property was great. Very modern and clean.

The location of the property was excellent. Within walking distance of the French Quarter. Also, was able to catch the trolley to the Riverwalk. The neighborhood is very safe. Most nights we didn't return until 2 and 3am. On the last day of our stay we found a very nice restaurant down the street that reminds you of a Farmers Market. Ms. Liz is an excellent host. Whenever I had questions she responded really quickly. Whenever I go back to NOLA I will always check for the availability of this property first.

Would stay here again and again!

My party of 8 stayed here from Thursday to Sunday. The house was well maintained, decorated very cute, and equipped suitable to our needs. Everything was clean and tidy!i wasn't sure what to expect but was not dissappointed with the house or the location. 5 minute walk to a few great places to eat. Another 5 minutes to the great music on Frenchman Street. About 15 minutes to the Quarter. Never felt unsafe despite all the rumors! I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends. 8 People were a little much, but we were not home much.

Location, Location, Location

This is the perfect location if you want to enjoy both Bourbon and Frenchman Streets and all they have to offer. We walked everywhere! Ages raged from 25 - 78. It was close enough to enjoy the party atmosphere of Bourbon while being able to retreat to a quiet space. Parking was good, however filled up quickly on the weekend. Outside balcony was perfect to enjoy a drink mid-afternoon before heading out for the night. Places you don't want to miss...Ayo Bakery on Frenchman, Ruby Slipper and the Frenchman Art Bazar. There were a few issues with supplies (no toilet paper, had to use an entire bottle of laundry detergent before washer would work), but we quickly resolved them. Generally clean. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Great location, comfortable house

The house was exactly as described. Loved the location with plenty of great food and amenities practically right outside the door. There’s foot traffic and a sometimes rambunctious bar on the corner but it is all part of the New Orleans experience we hoped to have. Appreciated the market just a couple blocks away and the house’s kitchen supplies. Liz was a great communicator and was ready to problem solve when we ran into an issue checking in. The house does have stairs to get in and accessing the loft/back deck requires climbing steep stairs (not everyone in our party felt comfortable making the climb) but that was as described and expected. Appreciated the house’s historic charm.

Amazing house

This is a great house in a great location. I've been to New Orleans many times and this is one of my favorite places I've stayed. Liz was an amazing host. The house itself is very clean, beds are comfy, and it's very quiet at night (which can be hard to find that close to the Quarter). I especially loved the little rooftop patio for morning coffee and cocktails at night. The location was great. Very easy to walk to Frenchman or Bourbon during the day, and easy Uber rides to anything at night. There are a few bars and restaurants very near the house too. Recommend The Ruby Slipper for breakfast. It's just down the block and it was delicious. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to all the action the Quarter and Frenchman street has to offer but still be able to have a lovely, quiet place to go back to.

Great rental property for our NOLA vacation

Nice and well-appointed rental home . Perfect for our family. Wonderful accommodations in a centrally located area just a couple blocks away from the French Quarter, restaurants, drugstore, great thrift shops, Frenchmen Street... all within walking distance. We all enjoyed our stay very much period immediately comfortable with the property. Very cozy and a safe neighborhood with free Street parking right out front. The only thing that maybe negative for someone is a bit of noise late at night from a pub on the corner. This is an easy fix by leaving some music playing or earplugs. Was not a problem for us as we are late night people ourselves. We even found beads and masks to wear to the pre Mardi Gras parade. Thanks to Liz for the lovely accommodations. We will recommend this place to friends and hope to be back again ourselves.
