Cozy apartment in an older building with a wonderful view

Our house is located on the edge of Arberg, offering a direct view of the forest opposite. While the local road running between the house and the forest isn't perfectly quiet, traffic is moderate, and things are usually very peaceful at night.
The adjacent forest area is perfect for long, leisurely walks.
The "Franconian Lake District" (Fränkisches Seenland) offers plenty of excursion options (Altmühlsee approx. 10 km, Dennenloher See approx. 6 km, Brombachsee approx. 25 km, Krummweiher approx. 6 km).

You will be staying in your own private, self-contained apartment, which is wonderfully cozy. It features a mix of furniture from our own collection—pieces that didn't fit in our own living space anymore, such as a vintage farmhouse wardrobe—along with a few gems found via online classifieds.
The fitted kitchen and bathroom are a bit older; they were already in place when we moved in. Everything is fully functional, of course, though some of the design choices might best be described as "retro" ;-)
If you are expecting a pristine, ultra-modern apartment, this might not be the right place for you. However, if you don't mind the occasional "DIY solution," you will thoroughly enjoy this cozy apartment and its impressive view.

You have your own separate apartment within our two-family home. We share the main entrance and a hallway, after which the spaces branch off into separate apartments. We live in the same house with our family. A parking space in the courtyard is available for your car. The apartment doesn't have a private garden, but it does feature a balcony with a beautiful view for your exclusive use. If you need to store bicycles or similar items, we can certainly find a suitable spot—just let us know.

If you have any questions during your stay, we prefer to discuss them in person. Since we live in the same house, we are usually easily accessible. Of course, we’ll give you our mobile number so you can call or message us.

We live a completely vegan lifestyle and are always happy to meet like-minded people. Naturally, we don’t want to tell anyone else how to live, but that does mean we can’t recommend the best local steakhouse or butcher, or help you out with an egg. ;-) On the plus side, we do know where to find the best vegan *Currywurst*!

If you’d like to bring pets along, please let us know beforehand. We live with a male cat who usually tends to retreat if he’s unsure about a situation.
