Our modern and cosy holiday home is located in a quiet residential area in Bitburg, in the heart of the Southern Eifel. The fully equipped house offers 115 square metres of living space and a 66-square-meter sun terrace, accommodating up to 8 people—six adults in three bedrooms and two children in additional trundle beds.
Bitburg, with a population of about 14,000, is the county seat of the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm and is just a few minutes from the A60 highway entrance (Bitburg-Süd). The Bitburg-Erdorf train station is about 3 km from the holiday home. Thanks to its central location between Trier, Luxembourg, and Belgium, there are numerous recreational opportunities—from the Nürburgring to the Moselle wine region and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trier, all the way to the historic border towns of Vianden and Echternach.
Our holiday home is the ideal starting point for extended hikes and bike rides through the Southern Eifel. The Eifelsteig trail passes by Bitburg in several stages, and the Bitburger LandGänge offer eight loop trails ranging from 2 to 8 km right on our doorstep. Cyclists appreciate the Kyll Bike Path, which runs mostly flat along the river—it’s about 40 km from Bitburg-Erdorf to Trier.
Families appreciate the short distance to the Cascade Bitburg water park (just a 7-minute walk) with its 55-meter slide, swimming pool, and sauna area. The Marienhaus-Klinikum Eifel is 350 metres away and can be reached in 4 minutes on foot—a reassuring thought for families and guests who value having good medical care nearby.

The Sonnenterrasse Kleverberg holiday home offers 115 square metres of living space, including a spacious kitchen and living area, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, as well as a pod coffee maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. Dishwasher tablets and dish soap are provided. A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement.
The house has two bathrooms: The main bathroom features a walk-in glass shower, while the second bathroom has a bathtub with a pivoting glass partition.
The living area has an open layout and is furnished with a dining set for 8 people and a cosy sofa arrangement. A smart TV is available for streaming evenings, and a Bluetooth speaker provides music. Books and board games provide entertainment when the Eifel weather isn’t quite as inviting.
The three bedrooms, with one 180 × 200 cm bed and two 160 × 200 cm beds, can accommodate six people. Upon request, we can provide two additional junior beds (70 × 160 cm and 80 × 160 cm)—suitable for children ages three to ten. This allows the family to sleep with up to eight people. The seventh and eighth guests stay free of charge. Blackout pleated blinds in all bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep. The beds are made, and towels are provided.
The house is heated by a modern, eco-friendly Vaillant air-source heat pump. A 300-liter hot water tank ensures plenty of hot water for your stay.
The centrepiece of the house is the 66-square-meter sun terrace that gives the house its name; it faces south and west, so it gets sun from morning until evening. It is equipped with a large table for eight people, two lounge chairs, a parasol, and a charcoal grill—the ideal spot for enjoying evenings together under the open sky.
The house comes with two parking spaces; bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable garage. High-speed Wi-Fi via Vodafone with 50 Mbit/s and unlimited data is available throughout the house—perfect for streaming or video calls with family back home.
Convenient self-check-in via a key safe allows for flexible arrival starting at 4:00 PM—you’ll receive the numeric code via email 24 hours before arrival.



On-site costs: Included in the room rate are: · Final cleaning · Bed linens and towels · Electricity, water, and heating · Wi-Fi with 50 Mbit/s and unlimited data · Use of the washing machine and dryer · Two parking spaces next to the house and use of the lockable garage for bicycles The minimum stay is 2 nights. Discounts: For stays of five nights or more, we offer a 5 percent discount; for stays of seven nights or more, a 10 percent discount on the room rate. Payment: 30 percent of the total booking amount is due within seven days of booking confirmation; the remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 14 days before arrival, the total amount is due immediately. Check-in and check-out: Check-in from 4:00 PM via the key safe; check-out by 10:00 AM. Pets are not allowed; smoking is permitted only on the terrace.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
