Our renovated condo is a perfect get away for families looking for the ease and enjoyment of an OCEAN FRONT unit! New Sliding door, Trex Deck and high top chairs (Summer 2021). Views from the family room, the kitchen and the deck will not disappoint. It is located high enough on the second floor, to see comfortably beyond the dunes. From the time you wake up in the morning, until you say goodnight, you will enjoy the peaceful sight and sound of waves crashing in the ocean. *Note, Golf Carts are Not Permitted.

Newly renovated kitchen with cabinetry, quartz countertops, flooring throughout, recessed lighting (2020) and much more will provide you and your family with wonderful vacation memories!

Family room overlooks the deck with oceanfront views. Two new couches for the 2023 season!

Just steps from the oceanfront pool and beach, you will have the luxury of walking out your front door and crossing the dunes to the beach. No need to lug toys and beach apparel in a cart or a car.

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a KING sized bed, with a master bath. The Second bedroom contains a full sized bed, and 2 twin beds. In the alcove of the hallway, there is a set of bunk beds. In total, the condo will sleep 7 people comfortably. Both bathrooms contain a bath tub/shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig Coffee Maker, a new refrigerator (2021) microwave (2020) and new stove (2020). Pull a stool up to the island, and enjoy your morning cup of Joe!

Well stocked kitchen with all utensils & dish ware. Only drawback were too well-worn bath towels. A bathmat would have been handy.Weather was rainy and windy but still had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time for weekend trip to see the beach and wild mustangs. Maura was exceptional. We had a couple small issues and she went above and beyond (after hours) to resolve the issue IMMEDIATELY. Beautiful home and location!

Great Time in Duck!

Great location and very clean! The area was fun and our first time to OBX. Great view from the deck and all the needed items were in the condo. When we arrived we needed to make our own beds (linens provided by a service and left at the door), but that was the only surprise. Great place for a relaxing getaway-

This condo is immaculate! Sooo close to shops and restaurants and RIGHT on the beach. Maura was very easy to get ahold of with questions and concerns. This was perfect size for my family of 5 and enough space to spread out. We have stayed here before and it is always just right!

A great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, modern and was stocked with pretty much everything that we needed. The location was wonderful - close to shops, restaurants and a perfect view of the ocean from the balcony for that morning cup of coffee. The kids loved the pool. My husband enjoyed using the charcoal grills on the property. It was everything that we expected and would definitely stay there again.

The perfect spot!

Colony by the Sea is a hidden gem in Duck and this unit did not disappoint! Everything is exactly as pictured, the unit was clean, had everything we needed and the owner was incredibly kind and responsive to any inquires.The walk to the pool and beach are nice and short and since this location is incredibly close the the heart of Duck, anything else you might be looking for (restaurants, shopping, actives and attractions) are all at your finger tips. We love OBX and have stayed in Colony by the Sea a few times, but this was the best unit yet. Having a second bedroom and a little extra space was great for us and our two young boys and to top it off, the view from the balcony was amazing. You won’t regret booking this one! We will definitely be back!

Lovely 2 bedroom unit with stunning views of the Ocean. Close to Duck and all the vacation essentials. The listing accurately describes the unit. Note that there are two flights of stairs to get to the unit.

Perfect spot!

This condo is beautifully decorated and is in a great location. The coded entry makes it so easy since one doesn't have to dig for the key! Watching the sunrise with a mug of coffee is lovely. Thank you for sharing this great getaway with us!

Ocean bliss

Easy walking access to Duck shopping and boardwalk. Beach access has a nice boardwalk. Perfect unobstructed ocean view of sunrise. Comfy high deck chairs. Condo kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms and living room/dining areas were comfy. The owner responded quickly to inquiries. No negative issues. Highly recommend.

We own this unit and would love to talk to you about it! Our Family loves to vacation at the beach. Living in the North East, we welcome any opportunity to get away from the cold and create new memories for our family! Cartwheels on the beach, catching ghost crabs with flashlights and biking are some of our favorite things to do in Duck!

Why they chose this property

When we walked in our property for the first time, we were stunned and shocked that it had such a wonderful and unobstructed view of the ocean. Having two bedrooms, and a total of six beds, we knew that it would be comfortable to vacation here with three growing children!

What makes this property unique

Coffee on the deck, while watching the waves crest and fall or a cocktail in the evening with a cool breeze. Adventures on the beach, building sandcastles, taking long bike rides and exploring the sites. There is so much to keep an active family busy!
