The apartment was immaculately clean, and communication with Valantis, who manages the property for his family (the owners) could not have been easier. This was particularly true for me, a native English speaker who speaks no Greek, because Valantis is perfectly fluent in English. Moreover, he was extremely prompt and helpful in responding to our communications. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be in the center of the Old Town, steps away from numerous restaurants and the sights of the Old Town and the old port and beach.

Great location. Stairs up to flat with luggage could have been a problem but friendly restaurant owners carried our luggage up to the flat. Great spot for sight seeing and some very good restaurants. A lovely week.

A very nice house in the middle of the old town of Rethymnon. Very clean, a lot of space, beautiful roof terace, and very kind people. We felt like being at home. A lot of very good restaurants in the near, but no possibility to park the car in nearby the house.

Great apartment in the heart of old town

This was a great apartment for our week in Rethymno! Lots of space for my husband, 3 teens and myself. The apartment was clean and bright, with great people watching down below from the living room. I loved walking out the door and being immediately part of the old town scene. It could get a little loud in the evening, but the bedrooms are well placed so as to not be impacted. As noted in the listing, parking a car is tough, but we learned how to navigate this after the first couple of days. Thanks to this family for hosting us! I’d definitely recommend and would stay again.

Well Satisfied

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The apartment is well-equipped with all you need for a comfortable holiday. It was perfectly clean on arrival. The decor has a pleasant Cretan feel and is tastefully furnished. The kitchen has anything you need with some unforeseen extras. The terrace is great for sitting out in the morning and the front mini balcony is good for people watching. The location is perfect for the old town shops and restaurants. It is only a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Beach towels are a welcome addition as it saves on packing. The aircon is modern, silent and suitably placed where it is needed. The owner has clearly thought through what is needed and provided an excellent holiday base in this lovely old town. We were made to feel very welcome. I can recommend it without reservation.

Idéal lieu de séjour !

Maison charmante et parfaite pour découvrir réthymnon et ses environs. Idealement située au coeur de la vieille ville, avec son balcon surplombant la vie des rues piétonnes. Charmant accueil des hôtes. Il n y manque rien. Literie parfaite. Parking du port à proximité : n hésitez pas à négocier le tarif si vous séjournez plusieurs jours. Nous recommandons fortement.

Amazing place to stay

We loved this place! The location is perfect...happily situated over a bakery and across from a creperie, minutes from a mini-mart...and central to shopping, attractions and reataurants. The home is well equipped, clean, and the owners were extremely helpful...providing a map and local tips.
