About this property
Fisherman's Dream Location By Salmon River! Lake Ontario Sandy Beaches!
Salmon River view and Lake Ontario sandy beaches!
It's not just big fish you can reel in in this beautiful & adventure filled town - the whole area has a lot to offer during all 4 seasons for a fun and memorable vacation! Best kept secret in North-East America! We call Pulaski, 'Alaski' (like Alaska)!!!!
Have a great, either an adventurous or a relaxing, vacation (your choice!) in a 3 bedroom, 1 & half bath house with a view to the famous Salmon River. (Note to fishermen: house is right by the Staircase!)
Lake Ontario’s big sandy beaches will please any sun and sand lover. Salmon River water sports are great for a thrill seeker. Hiking trails and awesome pick-your-own fruit orchards are just the tip of all the fun you can have in Pulaski!
House is located in downtown of Pulaski, near restaurants, shops and even a big playground. It's on a corner lot in a family friendly neighborhood.
There are 5 beds in the house. Master bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have each 2 twin beds.
House is fully furnished, linens and towels are included. There's also a washer/dryer in the house (no waders in the washer/dryer please!). Outside we have a 4-seat patio set and a charcoal grill.
On summer time you can enjoy beautiful Lake Ontario beaches, between 5-25 min. of driving,
*Selkirk beach state park - rocky beach, but great for sunset picnics and fishing. Grills are provided in the park. 5 min drive.
*Sandy Island Beach - concession stand and a sandy beach. 7 min drive.
*Southwick beach - biggest beach that has a concession stand, playground and indoor warm showers, 15 min drive.
-Boat renting by the lighthouse;
-Tubing, canoe & kayak renting on the river;
-Mini or professional golfing;
-Go-carting
-ATVing on trails.
-Hike on Salmon River Falls trail and then go down 600 feet to the gorge, take a dip and hike/climb back up.
-Another fun thing is to go fresh strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and peach picking. Or if you're craving for a fresh veggies or fruit pies, stop by at the farmer's market on Fridays and enjoy either the Amish made pies or another farm's products (local wines, breads, candles, soaps, vegetables, wood work and other handy-crafts).
-For the little ones a farm zoo, Old MacDonald farm, is not too far. Kids can roam around with popcorn loving friendly goats, pet cows, horses, rabbits and even a reindeer.
-Fine dining experience is most memorable at Rainbow Shores Restaurant where you can enjoy breathtaking million dollar sunset view.
For exact locations and names, inquire the list from us.
Fall time the most popular activity is the salmon, trout and steelhead fishing. Bring a rod and try your luck yourself! We can also refer a great fishing guide to help you out and give you a lesson. Autumn is also a great time for the whole family - daddy & older kids can fish while mommy and younger kids enjoy other area's fun activities. An interesting place to visit would be the Salmon River fish hatchery where all the mature salmon are coming 'home' to spawn. It's quite a spectacle to see them jump the water ladders! Take also an interesting tour inside the hatchery.
Another wonderful and fun thing to do is to go apple or pumpkin picking. The orchards are filled with juicy and plentiful different apples. Behling Orchard is most fantastic place!
Winter time activities include great ice-fishing, skiing, snow-tubing and snowmobiling. Fishing guide is available upon request.
Spring time is again great for fishing both in the river & lake.
We have a whole list of other great things to do in the area that we’d be happy to share, just ask!
Enjoy your time in Pulaski and hope to see you soon again!
For minimum 1 month rental, we offer a special rate of $1200/mo (all utilities included) from January to April. Fall months are not discounted.

About the host
Hosted by Kadri & Anthony Graffeo

We're a family of 6, raising little 4 boys in Connecticut.
We have been going to Pulaski as a family since 2003. We love going there and to the surrounding areas. With 4 boys, it's important to keep them active and interested in activities and that's exactly what Pulaski provides.

Why they chose this property
We bought our vacation house 2007 and have been using it very often. We consider our neighbors our friends! We love our vacation house and have been taking care of it with love. This year, 2014, is the first time we decided to rent it out and if everything goes well, we will continue sharing our beloved house with the world.
What makes this property unique
We love that the property is in downtown of Pulaski, a corner lot and right by the river.
