Lance, we're glad you enjoyed your stay! Regarding where dogs are allowed: the pet policy is a part of the rental agreement you agreed to when you booked your stay, including: PETS (DOGS) – Dogs are permitted in our home only with PRIOR approval. No cats or other pets are allowed. A $30 per night, per dog, fee applies. Dogs are not allowed on furniture and are not allowed on any carpeted areas, including bedrooms and the Kili den/must stay on hardwood floor living area ONLY. All dogs must be leashed at all times when outdoors. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet refuse. See the Pet Addendum for additional information; which states: 5. Dogs are not allowed on furniture at any time, and must be kept in the main, hardwood floor living area ONLY (never on carpeted areas of the home). Doggie gates are installed and must be used if you have a dog(s). If there is any evidence of pets on the carpeting or furniture you will, at a minimum, forfeit your entire booking/damage deposit and may incur extra cleaning fees. Further, you saw the signs in the house that say "No Dogs Allowed" - including going downstairs, as you messaged us: "...The only thing negative I can say is that the signs saying “no dogs allowed". The only access to the fenced in yard was through the basement but there is a sign for no dogs allowed at the top of the stairs. It was confusing..." Your dog clearly was on the bed in the primary bedroom, as well as in several carpeted areas downstairs.

Thank you for staying with us. I hardly knew you stayed there at all as the house was left in perfect condition. I was hoping you saw a moose up there? I'm so glad you had a good time. We have had other people ask about the mattresses as we replaced them throughout the house recently. Thanks for your comments!
