This beautiful, three bedroom oceanfront suite is located just on the edge of Tofino overlooking picturesque Tofino Harbor and Clayoquot Sound. A short stroll to Tonquin Beach. Restaurants, galleries and tour operators are all within easy walking distance. Or take a short five minute drive to spectacular Chesterman Beach.

Vista Hermosa Captain's Quarters is Family Friendly. Pets are welcome to well-behaved and groomed dogs.

Great home in a fabulous location!

We were very happy with our stay at Vista Hermosa. Our family of four was in Tofino for a wedding and the house was in a great location for walking to the various events, restaurants, shopping and galleries. The home was perfect with beautiful views and the owner was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views

First time in Tofino celebrating our anniversary. The accommodations were perfect. Close to everything, spectacular location. Did not need to communicate with host so no rating given. The only thing we would suggest is the chlorine level in the hot tub was too high and could not be used. We were in it for only two minutes but had to get out as it was hurting our eyes. We own a hot tub so we are very familiar. Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you

Great location

Parking for three on site was important as carrying bikes on two cars. Very walkable location to most restaurants and other amenities. MUP was a very enjoyable bike ride from accommodation location . Beautiful views from deck. Good internet. We would come again!

Awesome deck over the harbour

Have been coming back for 20 years to Vista Hermosa. Every comfort in a central location. Watch the sea planes and water taxis from the large deck over the harbour. Walk to everything!

Family

We stayed for 3 nights to enjoy a family wedding weekend. It was the perfect location and was perfect for our family. We enjoyed everything Tofino had to offer including the beautiful beaches only 10 minutes away. House was clean, views were amazing and it was close to everything! and bonus it had parking so no need to fight the nightmare that is Tofino parking! Did we mention we got to bring our dogs too! Great stay, highly recommend!

Overview of property

Great place to stay. Would stay again. Few issues - floors were not clean - fireplace not working - knobs missing on some cupboards in kitchen - hide-a-bed very uncomfortable. Needs new mattress I had a dark jade green shawl that may have been left. Pls advise if found. Thankyou

Fascination

There can't be a better view anywhere in the town of Tofino: The First Street Dock (the lifeline of the town), Lone Cone Mountain and the islands, the water, the sky, the boats, the seaplanes, the birds. The deck has sun all day long (on sunny days). Watch the light change, and the mist, otherwise. Owner lives below but we saw him once and heard him not at all. Walk down Main Street to Tofino Sea Kayaking for excellent morning espresso. Four minutes. Tonkin Beach is maybe 20 minutes' walk.

Stunning location. Central to Tofino. Clean & comfortable house.

Blown away with the view from the large balcony. House very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Easy access to Main Street in Tofino. Hot tub a big bonus.

Best vacation ever!

Four friends got together, from four different places. We arrived to find plenty of space and a deck overlooking the dock, great for viewing the sound and hanging out. We were a short walk to the co-op, to whale watching adventures, and to excellent bakeries. Vista Hermosa even supplied coffee beans, a grinder and what we came to call emergency chocolate, readily taking care of any need for snacks as we walked on nearby trails. Beautiful!

Watch eagles and orcas from the patio

The house has a great 180° sea-view. We saw eagles, sea otters, orcas and great sunsets (in July) directly from the patio. The house is clean, well equipped and is very close to shops and tour operators. We highly recommend this great place.
