This beautiful, three bedroom oceanfront suite is located just on the edge of Tofino overlooking picturesque Tofino Harbor and Clayoquot Sound. A short stroll to Tonquin Beach. Restaurants, galleries and tour operators are all within easy walking distance. Or take a short five minute drive to spectacular Chesterman Beach.

Vista Hermosa Captain's Quarters is Family Friendly. Pets are welcome to well-behaved and groomed dogs.

We loved our stay in Tofino. The location was perfect and everything was within easy walking distance. The highlight was definitely the deck, with its stunning water views and unforgettable sunsets. A great spot to relax after exploring the town.

Perfect for a family stay

This place is great, perfect for an extended family. Big kitchen, open living area, amazing deck over the inlet, perfect for watching the sunset. Quiet location but right in town, low tide beach combing right below, Walkable to all the tourist shops and restaurants. We would definitely book this place again. Thanks Eric, we all loved it

Wonderful Tofino Visit!

We brought friends from Ottawa to experience Tofino and we all were very impressed with our accommodation. View was amazing! House had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable, spacious and so close to town. Great stay!

Great days in Tofino

We travelled as a couple with two elderly small dogs. The property looked just like the pictures with a was happy about ( I have had the opposite happen) Check-in was smooth and we enjoyed the deck for awhile before getting our bikes ready. We biked all around the down town and also took the path along the highway quite a ways and checked out all the different beaches. Once we got back the hot tub was much appreciated. In the morning we had some coffee ( a great local bean that greeted us as we arrived) and sat on the deck to enjoy it with cinnamon buns from the local grocery store. Most things you need are honestly a 5 minute walk away or max 5 min bike ride. Watching the float planes take off and land was nice and all around a pleasant stay. I see myself coming back maybe with my niece as we didn’t make use of the other bedrooms or extra bathroom.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location

I travelled with my brother’s family (him, his wife, an 11 year old and an 8 year old) because I love Tofino and wanted to share it with my loved ones. The place was nice and spacious- great for me to have some quiet space as I usually travel alone, but also good family space. The hot tub was a huge hit. I great enjoyed my stay and would definitely say it is a great space if you are traveling with your family!

Wonderful family weekend

The Vista Hermosa was such a comfortable house, well equipped and wonderfully clean! We loved watching the activity on the water and the panoramic views were breathtaking. The bag of locally roasted coffee and chocolates were fabulous and much appreciated! Thank you Eric!

Amazing Location, Beautiful Residence

While our trip from Vancouver to Tofino began with a flight cancellation and a four hour bus ride instead of a 1 hour flight, as soon as we walked into Vista Hermosa after a long day of travel, we were greeted with a completely updated, gorgeous property. The views, location, and ease of communication with our host made our first vacation to the Tofino area a most memorable one for me and my family. I highly recommend this residence and we do hope to return someday soon.

Absolutely Perfect!

We stayed for a wedding that happened to be a quick 5-minute walk to the venue. The home is spotless and extremely accommodating for 2 couples like us or even if you had kids. The hot tub was a nice treat every night or early morning. The view and balcony are the cherry on top, it is immaculate and so lovely to have your morning coffee on the giant balcony. Check-in was seamless, everything was perfect and we had zero complaints! Hoping to bring our families here in the future.

Loved our visit, 100 per cent happy!

We had a great stay ... for us, this is the perfect place for a visit to Tofino. The property is clean, exactly as described, and in a great location. Nice quiet location, it's great being just a few steps away from the grocery store. The property is clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Especially nice to have a kitchen that is so well stocked with supplies, it has all the tools you need to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds and linens, we had great sleeps. Host is excellent, very quick to reply to messages, friendly and accessible. The property is really well kept, but what we really liked about it was the shared spaces. The living room and dining room are big enough that everyone can spend time together and visit, which you wouldn't get if you were renting a couple of hotel rooms. It's big enough that people can have some space on their own, or spend time together. We absolutely loved the location, but especially for the view of the harbour. If there's a day when the weather means you're stuck indoors, you could spend the day looking out that the boats and planes in the harbour. Vista Hermosa was perfect for our vacation, and we hope it works out so we can stay again.

Clean updated, home. Hot tub was perfect temp 104, small but functional tub. Great after a long day in the outdoors. Beautiful view and well appointed furniture and deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Really appreciated the coffee and chocolate, was a great touch. Was not a negative issue for us, but owner lives in the daylight basement portion of the home, good to know for arrivals and planning, noise considerations. Was helpful to have him there for questions, etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views from the dining room, living room and deck are spectacular. The home is spacious with a very well appointed kitchen. Although it is located in town, this home is very quiet. The hot tub was well maintained and very clean. Parking was awesome. Communications were almost instantaneous. I highly recommend this home. We all had a great time at Vista Hermosa this July. Being the stay at home Grandma, I enjoyed watching all the activity in the harbour. My children and grandchildren chose a different beach to explore each day, even renting wetsuits and boogie boards to add to their fun. We’d absolutely stay again!

Best view mornings and sunsets

Entered with WOW! Even though it was late, the view captured us. Spacious for the 6 of us. Easy walk to activities and shopping. One of the best parts of the vacation was sitting in the deck watching boat activity and bald eagles flying overhead.
