This fully licensed, custom home is situated on a private 1-acre property with stunning views of the Tofino Inlet, Clayoquot Sound and Meares Island. This true west coast gem and long-time favourite of renters, the Tofino View House is a luxurious oceanfront home with custom interior design, featuring 9 ft. ceilings, rough cut timber framing, wide plank fir flooring, heated slate flooring, large gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a large, private, water-facing deck with hot tub.
The Tofino View House is conveniently located within 2 km of the town of Tofino and 2 km of world-renowned Chesterman Beach (2 min drive).

The home is pet friendly (upon request). Organized events and parties are prohibited, including weddings and wedding receptions.

Just a great spot and lovely home to relax with family. Spectacular views from the home and deck and hot tub. Fully equipped with everything needed and owner was a friendly welcome guide all along the way from booking to arrival. Would come back for sure.

Wonderful

After my son's wedding, we stayed here with 2 other couples. Everything was great. The only slight downside was that the 2 couples were both our friends and didn't really know each other, but had to share a bathroom. We felt a bit guilty about that as in the master bedroom we had an amazing ensuite. Absolutely beautiful location next to the inlet.

A Perfect Place to Stay

From our initial booking until we were just leaving to Return home, Pete was in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. Centrally located, the home was an ideal launching pad for us to explore Tofino and its surroundings. With plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen and expansive deck, it left nothing to be desired. We highly recommend booking it for your own trip to Tofino.

Ideal and Serene Tofino Getaway

This property is truly amazing - nestled in the privacy of a beautiful forest with outstanding views but within walking and biking distance to all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower and great beach access for paddling in the bay. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking and socializing and the kids also enjoyed the TV room. Peter is a fantastic host and highly responsive. Thank you so much for hosting our family.

Great house for a family gathering!

This is a great house for our large family. We love the large common areas but had good privacy in the bedrooms. The kitchen with central island is a great gathering spot. The master bathroom is wonderful. The house and furnishings are nicely maintained. You can walk into town from this house along the Tofino walking trail. We will be back!

Perfect For a Family Christmas

My family and I stayed at this home over the holidays and we were so happy with the experience. The kitchen was SO fully stocked for preparing and serving Christmas dinner that my chef husband even impressed! The beds were cozy, we had plenty of firewood for a Christmas Day fire and we appreciated the mud room since it was a stormy few days. We loved that the brewery was across the street for a quick Boxing Day outing and we ended each evening with a dip in the hot tub before bed. This house has everything you could ask for and more!

Serenity and Beauty

The photos online do not do this home justice, the house is huge and so lovely and the view is unbelievably beautiful.It is so quiet, it really gives you a chance to recharge your batteries from the busy lifes we all lead.Our dogs loved being right on the beach as much as we did.The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom was next level luxury.We stayed for 1 week and they even had the hottub service come by to check the hottub and chemicals without us even asking, next level care and service.The house is also in a great location and proximity to pretty much everything, so exploring the area is easy and convenient. Thank you again Peter, we have memories that will last us a lifetime

This exceptional property exceeded expectations, offering stunning interior and exterior aesthetics. Amenities included a hot tub for enjoying sunrise and tidal views while having morning coffee, and a world-class kitchen with scenic views for preparing meals. The spacious accommodation comfortably slept six adults, with two queen bedrooms, one room with two single beds, and a king bedroom. Its convenient location, a 20-minute walk from town and opposite a brewery, added to its appeal. The outstanding hospitality provided by Peter ensured a memorable stay, and we eagerly anticipate a return visit.

Incredible vacation

Host was amazing, having a toasty fireplace to enjoy each night was fantastic. The house is situated in a beautiful area and walking distance to the brewery. We even accidentally forgot our kindle and the owner was fast to respond and mailed it back for us!!!

My wife and I have been coming to Tofino for over 23 years and have an appreciation for the natural beauty and solitude of wilderness. We have owned other properties in Tofino in the past, however, when we visited the View House we fell in love with the privacy and tranquility of inlet waterfront.

Why they chose this property

When we first visited the Tofino View House we fell in love with the beautiful views of Meares Island and the privacy this 1 acre provides. There are at least 5 massive, old-growth cedar trees on the property and the atmosphere is of nature and tranquility.

What makes this property unique

One of the unique benefits of our property is the absolute privacy and quiet that 1 acre provides. Most rooms in the house are north/east facing and have stunning views of Tofino Inlet & Meares Island. The bird life is amazing, including bald eagles, owls and herons fishing at low tide. As you look up from the hot-tub the starlit sky is framed by a 250+ yr. cedar tree. The property is conveniently located between the main town and the best beaches in the area, both a 2 minute drive. There is also a paved walking/cycling path leading to the town and beaches, accessed at the top of our driveway. A quintessential Tofino experience!
