Your home is perfect for us--comfortable, spacious, and in a really convenient location for our needs. We pretty much stayed away from the hub-bub of MDI (one bike trip on the carriage paths) and spent much time in the Blue Hill-Deer Isle area."

Everyone enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the comfortable accommodations in each suite and the property on the water. My grandkids especially liked playing with the crabs in the tidepools, fishing and just investigating the banks near the water. Grown ups enjoyed the kayaks and canoes, the rise and fall of the tide and the mountains we could see in the direction of the park.
We did make it to Perry's for delicious lobster, and Blue Hill for groceries and eats at the Fishnet.

5. “Our 60th anniversary celebration was awesome! What a beautiful view from your deck, and I'm certain no one has ever used the kayaks and canoe any more than we did. Really liked the layout of your home with the large rooms for all to get together but separate floors for privacy. Enjoyed Bar Harbor and the shops and also Sand Beach and trails at Acadia National Park. Thunder hole was amazing! Really appreciated your favorites list and tried many. Lobster dishes and lobster rolls were enjoyed by all 13 of us. Our favs were Union River Lobster Pot and Pat's Pizza. Fierce ping pong competition every night from about 9:00 'til 1:00 --bought 2 more paddles and balls, too and left them for you. So nice of you to remember our anniversary and give us the Farmhouse red wine and heart balloons. That was very special.”
