Embrace the warm, authentic log home ambiance as you gather with family in the great room. Wood beams and lots of natural light make this an inviting space to watch TV with a crackling fire in the background.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make favorite meals and delicious treats. There is seating for four at the kitchen table, and the dining table has seating for eight. Both rooms have access to the deck making it easy to host an afternoon barbecue too.

Just off the kitchen is a family room that expands your living space. You can sink into the comfy furnishings to watch the big game for a leisurely Sunday afternoon.

The main level bedroom is furnished with a king bed, TV and Blu Ray DVD player. You can unwind with a movie before drifting off to sleep. The second main level bedroom offers a double bed and is decorated with a good night's sleep in mind.

Upstairs, the loft area has a futon and is a perfect hang-out spot for the kids. The upper level also has two bedrooms. One is outfitted with a king bed, TV and Blu Ray DVD player and the other has a queen bed.

Tucked among the trees, your private outdoor pool (Not Heated) (available Memorial Day to Labor Day) is a private oasis where you can splash and play on hot summer days!

The covered front porch is the perfect spot to sip your coffee in the morning with the sounds of nature all around you. In the evening, you can make s'mores at the fire pit and then take a dip in the bubbling hot tub under starry mountain skies.

Serene and secluded, you will fall in love with the nature that surrounds you but relish the location which is less than a mile from Deep Creek Lake State Park. Tucked Inn was perfect for our stay. We were close to everything. During our short stay, we hiked Rock Maze, rode the mountain coaster, visited the falls, and went to my parents' hometown - all short drives. It was cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Definitely staying here again.

Really rustic and charming property with plenty of room and things to do. Everything you need and extremely clean. Pool and hot tub are great bonuses. Would definitely stay again!

SO many rentals claim to have a "private pool," but then you find you have limited hours or share it with the hosting family. This was a truly private pool.

Tucked Inn was the perfect setting for a New Years Eve Weekend cabin getaway. The house was fully stocked with all the amentities needed for a relaxing trip away and the setup was ideal for a group that wanted to be together but also spread out enough that no one felt on top of one another. The hot tub was the final bonus - would definitely return!

Perfect Friend Meet Up Weekend

We stayed at Tucked Inn for a long weekend as the perfect middle point between us (Philly area) and good friends (from Ohio). We both have kids under 3 and really enjoyed the layout at the cabin that allowed for quiet napping time for the kiddos during the day and quality hangout time for us parents after the kids went to bed. We enjoyed cooking and hanging out in the kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and going for hikes in the area. One plus we didn't realize until after we got there was that the Deep Creek State Park Discovery Center for kids is walking distance from the cabin. This was PERFECT for our two families as we could walk there with the kiddos and play on the playground and then easily head back to the house for lunch and nap time. We will definitely be back!

Memorial Day Weekend

When we arrived, there was multiple issues including wifi password not working, water heater and water pump breakers were off, and gfi issue in bathroom. Everything but the Wifi did end up getting resolved. The issues we had were frustrating but we did end up having a great weekend. The updates were great and we loved the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. We played cornhole and had a great time. We will be back!

We had a great time at the Tucked Inn. It is a charming home and convenient to Wisp.

We stayed at the Tucked Inn for 3 nights to ski at Wisp. We had 3 adults and 6 kids 7-15 and one dog. When we pulled in the driveway we fell in love with Tucked Inn. Inside is equally charming with a large stone fireplace and loft in the main front room. The 4 bedrooms and loft were enough room for 9 and the home did not feel crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and a great way to relax after skiing. There is a large yard that is fenced, although we did not let our dog run loose in case he jumped the fence. The gas grill worked which was a surprise since it was winter. The house was clean. It’s location is convenient to Wisp, movies, restaurants and other activities. The lake is just down the street. We loved it and would stay there again.

A comfy cabin in the woods

Some of the complaints and criticisms included in other reviews (i.e. water temperature of pool, cooling issues in the second floor of the home, missing or broken amenities or supplies) are true, but I wouldn't say that they take away from the overall allure or experience of the property. We still spent quite a bit of time in the pool (and hot tub); we slept in the cooler areas of the home; and we bought what we needed to replace or supplement the missing or broken elements. The home's location is fantastic - a short (uphill/downhill) walk from the state park and a 10-minute drive from shops and services. If we had traveled with kids, they would have loved the discovery center. The layout of the home is quite odd, but it works. We especially liked all of the outdoor seating. The management company will tell you to bring a ton of your own paper products, soap, and condiments but you are pretty much set for at least a few days with what is in the kitchen.

Not as I had hoped or expected based on reviews

Unfortunately the property had cobwebs all over the outside. There were VERY limited towels (one kitchen towel and 2 others). The 2nd floor of the house was about 30 degrees hotter than the 1st floor. We had to keep it at 55 just to keep it around 80 on the top floor so we were either sweating or freezing. There were no big bowls for cooking… no measuring cups… the hot tub cover was water logged and extremely heavy… with cobwebs all over it. It was dirty. The pool was really dirty… It just felt really poorly taken care of overall and the temperature differences were really frustrating and made it uncomfortable. The first night the fire alarm went off because it ran out of batteries at 3am. Also, the internet password was wrong on the email they sent so it took us a day to get internet and figure that out. As noted, there was no jungle gym outside for the kids as it was listed on the site. Positive? The location was great (right by the state park with beach access) and the decor was interesting.

Masters Graduation Celebration

The stay was awful. We went from the property not having lights in one of three bathrooms to the mold and uncleanliness of the propert. Oreos had to be brought over as well as a humidifier. The balcony furniture had moss, dirt and mold as well as the water puddles with moss on the top and side of the hot tub cover. The property was not cleaned properly. And finally no hot water. We were in the property for approximately 25 hours. I am in the process of trying. To recoup some of my monies. This was very unprofessional and not hospitality driven at all. We were told a maintenance person on duty, Kevin, was coming to turn the hot water on on Saturday night. He never showed and indicated he did not receive a text, call or email until I called again Sunday morning at 9:30, he arrived about 10:30 am. My hurst were ready to leave. Several (4) guest came Saturday night and left at 8:40 am Sunday because there was no hot water. I want at least 50% of my monies returned.

Nice getaway

Overall we had a good time. Ran into an issue discovering that there were only 5 towels laid out for us (9 occupants). But after reaching out they provided extra towels a day later, so in that time we went to the local Walmart and bought detergent to clean. I will say that when we arrived, the trash bin outside (1) was already half full. So after our 4 days being there, we had several extra bags of trash that couldn’t be placed outside. When reaching out to the number provided, they told us to drop it off at their headquarters which was 20 minutes in the opposite direction of us departing, which was inconvenient, so after contacting someone else they were able to submit a maintenance ticket for someone to pick it up. Last thing was that the listing at the time of reservation said included a heated pool. The pool itself had an inner lining of wiring and a generator (next to the filtration system) behind the bar to suggest it was a heated pool. However when this function did not work and the generator gave an error warning, we reached out to the number that was given to us and said that the pool did not support the heat function. We were a bit disappointed with these three things but overall good time there.

Exceeded best expectations

Charming, roomy, comfy log cabin in the woods with a spectacular pool. The little ones were happy with the play area and pool and the adults just relaxed. Well appointed kitchen. I will say that for a place that offered so much, the mattresses left a lot to be desired. Should not be tired in a house that was otherwise great.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the large front porch was awesome for just hanging out and talking. We appreciated that the place is all fenced in so our grandson could run around and enjoy his own private playground. There is so much to do and enjoy here that there is no need to go anywhere else and it is a great location to just walk to the lake and go to the discovery center. We LOVED the cozy cabin and the beautiful landscaping. Tucked Inn is an amazing retreat.
