Sommerferien in der Normandie

Wir konnten eine tolle Woche in der Normandie bei sehr freundlichen Gastgebern verbringen. Das Domiziel ist klein und gemütlich, doch zusammen mit unserem Hund war es absolut ausreichend. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um naheliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Honfleur, Dieppe, Etreta aber auch im Landesinnern wie z.B. das Chateau Gaillard zu besuchen. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen und denken jetzt schon daran, auch nächstes Jahr wieder hier zu nächtigen.

Kleines gemütliches Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir haben zu Dritt (Paar mit Teenie) zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Gîte verbracht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die sympathischen Besitzer wohnen nebenan und haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und viele Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Sie sind sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt der Gäste so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Von uns vergessene Bettbezüge und Geschirrtücher wurden ohne Aufpreis zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Anreise ist praktischerweise an keine Zeit gebunden, weil die Schlüssel bei Bedarf in einer Box mit Zahlencode zur Verfügung gestellt werden können. Die Lage ist ländlich und ruhig und eignet sich hervorragend, um mit dem Auto die Umgebung zu erkunden. Etretat erreicht man in zehn Minuten, Fécamp in ca. 20 Minuten und in 10 Minuten Entfernung befindet sich ein wunderschöner flacher Strand mit angrenzenden Parkmöglichkeiten (Saint Jean Brunéval - bei Ebbe sogar mit Sandstreifen). Die Hütte ist umgeben von Weiden (direkt nebenan drei lustige Ziegen und dahinter eine Pferdeweide mit zwei Pferden). Mit dem Auto erreicht man in fünf Minuten den Ortskern oder nächsten Supermarkt. Das Grundstück ist von einem Zaun umgeben und bietet dadurch viel Privatsphäre. Auch seine vierbeinigen Begleiter kann man sorglos frei herumlaufen lassen. Die Ausstattung der Hütte ist einfach, aber gut. Es gibt nur französisches Fernsehen, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, weil wir die Abende größtenteils auf der überdachten Terrasse verbrachten. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und einen grandiosen Urlaub verbracht. Wer nicht viel Platz und Luxus erwartet und das einfache Landleben in einer wunderschönen Umgebung genießen möchte, dem können wir die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen! Theoretisch können hier 4 Personen übernachten, wir persönlich denken aber, dass es dann ein wenig eng werden könnte. Zum Schluss noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die man aus unserer Sicht eventuell verbessern könnte: Manche Küchenutensilien sind bereits ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und könnten beizeiten ein Upgrade gebrauchen (zum Beispiel Essbesteck, Schneidebretter, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine – es ist aber alles funktionstüchtig!). Den Fenstern würden wir aufgrund der ländlichen Lage einen Fliegenschutz spendieren, sodass man länger lüften kann, ohne zu viele Plagegeister anzulocken. Der Essbereich ist etwas klein geraten, hier könnte man einfach auf die (von uns nicht benötigte) Couch verzichten und dafür etwas größere und bequemere Stühle platzieren.
