2/3 bedroom apartment with private hot tub and stunning sea view

This luxury apartment is located on the 5* Spa resort of Mar da Luz, just a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk from Praia da Luz and Burgau.
The fully air conditioned apartment has two bedrooms and a mezzanine which makes a third sleeping area with a sofa bed. Doors lead from the mezzanine to. Private roof terrace with sun loungers and a private hot tub. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite with large walk in shower with rainwater head. The second bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower room. The living area is open plan with a modern well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The lounge area has a plasma tv with a selection of satellite channels and a DVD player. Free fibre optic broadband is available throughout the apartment. Patio doors lead from the lounge to a spacious balcony with sea view. The apartment further benefits from electric shutters on the Windows.
The resort of Mar da Luz has a communal outdoor pool and small childrens pool. The indoor facilities include a fitness room and spa with indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and treatment room. All the facilities are free for guests staying at the resort. Mar da Luz is located on the prestigious development of Porto Dona Maria which has a lovely poolside snack bar/restaurant with sea view. There is also a traditional Portuguese restaurant just outside the entrance to Porto Dona Maria. A coastal footpath runs between the resort of both Praia da Luz and Burgau. Both towns have beautiful beaches and numerous bars and restaurants. Praia da Luz, being the larger town, has two supermarkets (one of which offers a delivery service), a bank and pharmacy. The large beach at Praia da Luz offers a selection of water sports during the summer season.
If you don't fancy the 20-25 minute walk into town, there is a bus stop outside the entrance to Porto Dona Maia with regular buses that run between Burgau, Praia da Luz and Lagos. Taxis are also easily available costing just a few euros. Should you have your own car the resort has a secure underground car park and each apartment has its own space.

All bed linen and bath towels are provided. Beach towels can be hired for 2,50€ each. Twice weekly maid service is also included in the rental price. A food welcome pack can be provided - please enquire about options and prices.

Wir waren nun zum 2x in diesen Appartements Mar da Luz wir sind mehr als nur Fan. Es war wieder der absolute hammer. Die Unterkunft ist sehr Modern und wurde immer gut gepflegt. Sie ist sehr sauber und top modern. Die Einrichtung und alles dran ist Top. Wir werden wieder mit grossem Vergnügen zurückkehren.

Excellent location

Property was as noted in the listing. Enjoyed the hot tub on the roof. Perfect location 5 minute drive from Luz and 20 minutes from Lagos. Would stay here again. Of note parking spot is for small car, if you have a bigger car may need to park on street but that wasn’t an issue as lots of street parking available for free. Enjoyed our week in the Algarve.

Lovely apartment in quiet setting

This newer apartment had everything you needed in a quiet location. Roof-top hot tub and outdoor balcony patio with view were amazing. Small resort complex was very nice and peaceful. You do need transport as the walk to Luz was a little far. Great location to explore this area of the Algarve.

Top Apartment in ruhiger Lage mit Meerblick

Super (für uns luxuriöses) großes Apartment mit Meerblick in ruhiger Lage. Das Apartment hat 2 Badezimmer und 3 Terrassen. Eine der Terrassen ist eine kleine Dachterrasse auf welcher ein Whirpool steht. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer, eine große Wohnküche (Küche mit Spülmaschine + Waschmaschine, Esstisch, Couch) und die Treppe herauf (also Hochparterre :) ) eine ausklappbare Schlafcouch. Es ist etwas außerhalb gelegen (was uns aber absolut nicht gestört hat), weshalb ein Auto ratsam ist. Die Bilder entsprechen wirklich dem was man vor Ort vorfindet. Das gesamte Resort bietet zusätzlich einen Indoor- und Outdoor Pool, einen Spa-Bereich sowie einen Fitnessraum. Die Bewertung enstpricht natürlich nur dem Apartment in welchem wir gewohnt haben.

Great property with good facilities within the complex. Quiet location. Only negative is that the walk to Luz is a bit too far for children and although it's very close to the sea the closest beach is Luz.

Very nice apartment in a quiet complex outside of Luz. The view is amazing. We were there in February, so didn’t get to use the deck, but the view from it and through the glass doors is very beautiful. The apartment has nice furnishings and the beds were comfortable. Issues were dealt with immediately by the owner and the staff at the complex. The kitchen had most things you would need to cook. We would say that a car is a must for this rental.

This apartment has everything you would need for a perfect relaxing holiday. The balconies and roof terrace are great for catching the sun at all times of day, although there are shady areas for those who want it.Private hot tub and resort gym and swimming pool facilities all excellent. About 30 minutes walk into Luz along the coastal path which was fine for us, bus stop outside resort if needed for Burgau, Luz and Lagos. Would definitely consider returning here.

Magnifique vue de la très grande terasse, également sur le toit terrasse le jacuzzi est top 👌 La résidence et hyper calme et magnifique décoré et entretenu avec beaucoup de goût (idem pour l'appartement) . Aucun point négatif. Maria à l'accueil de la résidence qui parle français a été très gentille et accueillante. Conclusion : un séjour parfait dans cadre parfait!

Para repetir si no fuera por los colchones

El apartamento está bastante bien, todo acorde con la descripción y las fotografías del anuncio, pero a nosotros los colchones no nos han resultado muy cómodos porque eran de muelles. Es una lástima que, estando tan bien el apartamento y la urbanización, falle en algo que repercute en el descanso. Todo muy limpio. El personal de servicio de la urbanización todo un encanto, sobre todo el personal de limpieza, muy atentas a cualquier cosa que necesites. Se trata de una urbanización apartada por lo que es muy tranquila, pero necesitas coche para llegar a alguna zona de restauración o supermercados ya que no hay nada cerca para ir a pie. Tiene un jacuzzi en una azotea pequeña en la planta alta, una zona común de SPA que disfrutamos mucho y un pequeño gimnasio que no llegamos a utilizar. La piscina de la urbanización no es demasiado grande, aunque no solía haber mucha gente, pues las playas de aquella zona son una maravilla. Hay playas preciosas donde elegir a 10 minutos en coche (Luz, Cabanas Velhas, Castelejo, Lagos...).

A beautiful modern apartment on a lovely resort

We spent a superb week at this property in Luz. There were 5 of us (4 adults and 1 child). The property was outstanding, everything the description claimed and more. The mezzanine made a great bedroom for our 10 year old son. The resort is up on the hill on the edge of town. We didn't hire a car and worried this might be a problem but it wasn't at all. The local supermarket delivers groceries and there are plenty of taxis (under 5 Euros to Luz centre). Also not a problem if you're reasonably fit (20ish minute walk to town centre). The view from the apartment is beautiful, especially from the hot tub on the roof terrace. Liz was extremely helpful and made the booking process so easy. I would highly recommend this property. luz itself is a wonderful town with many great restaurants and a lovely beach. We also really liked the little village of Burgau which also has a nice beach and restaurants. We are already planning to return next year.
