Casa Mocho is a charming villa located in the desirable area of Calicas near to the Meia Praia beach. Casa Mocho has a very large driveway offering parking for multiple cars with a lockable gate to keep little ones from leaving the grounds! At the rear of the villa is an enclosed patio area with a built-in BBQ area and sink. Here you enter the villa through the back door into a lobby area off which is a small utility room with a washing machine and secondary fridge/freezer (beer and wine fridge). There is also the door into the spacious kitchen which has granite counter tops and splash backs and a breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and large built-in fridge/freezer.
From the kitchen you go into the dining area of the open plan living space where there 's a dining table and chairs for 6 people. Then on to the lounge area which has a sofa and 2 retro arm chairs, a TV with UK BBC and ITV channels, Netflix, etc, plus a router providing high-speed internet access.
Leading off from the lounge is the master bedroom which has a large en suite comprising a shower cubicle, toilet, basin, bidet and full sized bath. A corridor at the other end of the villa leads to the 2 other bedrooms and 2 further bathrooms, 1 comprising a shower, toilet, basin and bidet and a larger family bathroom with the addition of a full sized bath. All bedrooms, the lounge and the dining room have air conditioning units supplying cooling in the summer and heating in the winter.

From the lounge patio doors lead out to the fully enclosed pool terrace - a lovely place for al fresco dining at the outside dining table! The kidney shaped pool, which can be heated (at extra cost), is approximately 5m x 10m with Roman steps at one end. Around the private and secluded pool, along with the dining table and chairs, are 6 sun loungers to relax on. From the pool terrace are stairs leading up to the roof terrace with its amazing views across the valley all the way to the Monchique Mountains - a perfect place for sundowners!
From the side and the rear of the villa are mature gardens - great for children to explore when they tire of the pool. Beyond these gardens there is an orchard with orange, lemon and various other fruit trees. The entire area is fenced with the only access being via the front gates.
Casa Mocho is located about 2 kilometres from Lagos Marina, with its bars and restaurants, which is a short walk over the footbridge into Lagos town. The villa is also 2 kilometres from the beautiful Meia Praia beach with all it's facilities (various sports activities, bars and restaurants, etc).
A car is recommended at this villa as the lane from the Marina doesn't have pavements making walking difficult.
