Hiking in summer, or contemplative snowshoeing in winter, the Bossons glacier, the Merlet free-range animal park, climbing rocks, tree climbing, the Gaillands lakes, are nearby.

Jean-Pierre has been by far the best host I ever had. 100% recommended, great location with good transport links, insane views and the house has everything that you might need for a lovely stay. Jean-Pierre came to pick us up and they even provided us with dinner as we arrived late due to traffic. We will be coming back. Thank you Jean-Pierre!

The property was lovely and a short bus ride from Chamonix Centre, it was clean and cosy with a lovely kitchen which helped us keep things cheap; but what really sold this to me were the hosts, they were incredibly accommodating picking us up from the bus station after our flight as well as running us in to Chamonix and along to Argentiere with our ski's. Completely amazing and would definitely stay again.

Apartment next to the river

We had a very enjoyable stay here in June. The apartment is located between Chamonix and Les Bossons, wedged between the river and the railway line with view over the mountains. We did not have a car, and found it easy to travel using train and bus. Both were approx a 10 minute walk away. The description of the apartment is accurate as are the pictures. The decor is possibly a bit old fashioned but the apartment is well equipped for anything you may need. The area was peaceful and quiet. Please note that the bathroom has a half bath as per the description and a handheld shower head. We felt that the stay could be improved by the addition of a proper shower above the bath. Thank you for making our time in Chamonix memorable.

Insufficient Address for VRBO

We had great difficulty finding the VRBO because only a street name was provided not an actual address. There were many houses on the street but no one recognized the photo of the house we showed them. Fortunately, my daughter speaks French and the owner responded to our phone call and came to pick us up, for which we were very grateful. This would have been unnecessary if a house address had been provided.

Accueil exceptionnel!

Nous n'avons jamais reçu un tel accueil ailleurs! Le couple hôte est d'une gentillesse incroyable. La maison est située à côté d'un cours d'eau et près des pistes cyclables et de deux gares. L'environnement est magique. Notre séjour dans cette maison restera l'un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre escapade en Europe.
