Evenings end in the same spot, glass of wine in hand, watching the sunset set the sky over Naples on fire — it's the moment almost every guest remembers first once they're back home.

We're in Marina d'Aequa, Vico Equense: an 80-metre walk from the seafront, where evenings mean strolling past seafood restaurants, pizzerias and lounge bars, with free and equipped beaches right below. The fishermen's harbour has hydrofoil connections to Capri, and within minutes you can arrange a private boat trip along the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts — for anyone who'd rather see Positano from the water than from the road.

The villa itself tells its own story of Mediterranean tradition: white façades, hand-painted majolica tiles, and bougainvillea climbing the walls in the colours that gave the house its name. Three independent apartments, each with its own entrance, share the same garden, the same garage and the same panoramic terrace — built for bringing everyone together, whether that's extended families, groups of friends, or three generations under one roof, without ever giving up a corner of your own.
