Beautiful and relaxing stay with fabulous food

Our stay was great. There is no a/c but the pool is cool and the rooms cool down in the evening. (We stayed during the heat wave) The cafe/restaurant next door is excellent, phenomenal lemon ravioli and good seafood, pasta, breakfasts and pizza as well. Everyone was kind and welcoming and it was a delight to stay here among the lemon trees and to look at the sunset over the sea every evening.

Lemon love

The villa was located on a blooming lemon grove…..it smelled wonderful. The house had tall open windows, and beautiful balconies, perfect to view the sea and the sunset. The property owners had a small shop which I had coffee and croissants every morning… they also owned a restaurant and the food was amazing…..especially pizza, lemon cake and lemon spritz which was made with their own lemoncello . It was just the atmosphere I was looking for…old country!

Estuvimos mejor que en casa. El alojamiento pertenece a una casona con varios apartamentos. Francesco, el dueño y anfitrión es una persona entrañable y atenta que a nosotros y a nuestras hijas de 8 años nos ha tratado como a su familia. Nuestro apartamento era impresionante, en la primera planta con unas vistas increibles al mar y a la montaña. Esta todo reformado y decorado con buen gusto. Hay una piscina que viene muy bien después o antes de una duro dia de turismo por la zona. Tambien tienen un restaurante dentro de las instalaciones con comida casera italiana a muy buen precio. Fue un lugar idílico para descansar y punto estrategico para ver los pueblos de los alrededores. nos ha nos ha nos ha

Spacious apartment with Large Balcony

Elsa's apartment in Schiazzano was wonderful. The apartment was very spacious and had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the Sea. Elsa scheduled a boat trip to Capri and a Tour of the area farms and food. We really enjoyed our time in Schiazzano!

Charming Getaway

The house was amazing and very clean!! Marzia and family were so hospitable! Also the restaurant they run is fantastic. Most of the food they make from scratch will locally grown produce and cheeses! Their homemade limoncello is the best I have had, even after living in Italy for 10 years. I can’t wait to go back and stay longer so as to see more of the countryside treasures!

Great place to relax with good restaurant

This a a great place run by a nice family. You have everything you need, an apartment, pool, good restaurant attached, private parking and even table tennis and a kicker. It is located in a small village with 2 restaurants and 2 mini markets. To get around I strongly recommend a car, even though there is a bus stop. One can reach Sorrento in around 20 min, Pompeji in an hour and the Amalfi coast line within 40 min by car. The closer vicinity offers nice places to hike, e.g. to Punta Campanella. The closest option to swim is Marina della Lobra (10 min car ride). Everything in the house is tidy and nice. The family, who also runs the restaurant, is really friendly and always there to help with any issues. They will even arrange boat trips to Capri or Amalfi with pick-up and drop-off at the apartment. The restaurant terrace has an amazing view over the sea, Naples and the Vesuv and good food for a reasonable price. Thanks a lot to the family for this great place, we enjoyed it a lot!

Schiazzano Forever

La location è perfetta per una vacanza relax in uno dei luoghi più affascinanti della Campania. La posizione è ideale per spostarsi lungo la costiera sorrentina ed amalfitana. I proprietari Franco e Marzia, insieme alle loro splendide figlie, sono di una disponibilità eccezionale, inoltre nel loro ristorante, l'Antico Scantinato, è possibile gustare i prodotti tipici del luogo. L'appartamento è pulito e spazioso ed affaccia su una splendida terrazza con piscina e su un'area gioco per i più piccoli. Sicuramente ritorneremo a trovarli... Cristina

An Excellent base with a Friendly host family

We had a fantastic holiday staying with Franco, Marzia and the family. We were late arriving but were warmly greeted and quickly shown to our accommodation and even with being late we were still able to get some takeaway pizza from the family restaurant. The apartment was ideal for a family of four and offered everything we needed, including private parking, private terrace and wi-fi, which Franco was just in the process of upgrading to high speed. The family were so friendly. We locked ourselves out on the very first day but it was no problem for Franco, drill in hand ready to get us in, but fortunately spare keys were found! We ate at the restaurant a number of times for breakfast and dinner and the food and drink was good quality with again a very friendly service The apartments are located in Schiazzano which is a quiet village with a couple of very nice restaurants and shops and a nice outlook to the bay of naples. They are perfectly placed for exploring the area, with a beaches within a short drive, Sorrento half an hour away and Naples and the sites around an hour. Our favourite beach was down in Nerano only 15 minutes in the car. If we’re ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay again. Thank You!

Italian Village Holiday

We stayed in the one bed roomed apartment which was spacious and clean. There was a nice shady terrace and private parking. Next door there is a small village shop which sells everything! We also visited the restaurant on several occasions where we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a view of Vesuvius and watching the sun set over the Bay of Naples, whilst enjoying the home made pasta and pizza, finished off with a glass of Franco's delicious Limoncello. From Schiazzano it is easy to visit Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and numerous other small marinas along the stunningly beautiful coastline. We also visited Herculanium and Pompeii which took just over an hour to reach. There is a bus service from the village but a car is really necessary. The real stars of our holiday were Franco and his family who made us feel very welcome. Grazie Franco and Marzia!

Ottima posizione per visitare la costiera

Il soggiorno nel casale "Villa Marzia" è stato perfetto, l'appartamento era impeccabile e confortevole. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dai proprietari che si sono dimostrati molto gentili e disponibili. Ottima la gita a Capri organizzata da Franco e la grigliata nel suo ristorante "Antico Scantinato". Per raggiungere agevolmente le località principali della costiera si consiglia il noleggio di uno scooter.

"Ce fut un tres bon sejou...

"Ce fut un tres bon sejour diurne dans la region napolitaine. La voiture est obligatoire et il ne faut pas avoir peur de faire un petit peu de route pour les visites inoubliables. Les plages sont typique du sud ouest de l''italie avec des transat payant les uns a cotés des autres mais nous ne sommes pas la pour la plage. Le proprietaire est tres accueillant et prend soin de ses hotes. la petite épicerie nous founit en tomate mozzarella donc ton va bien ! Francesco a aussi son restaurant tres conviviable. En revanche pour le nocturne, il faut vraiment que Francesco fasse quelquechose pour le chien des voisins qui aboie toute la nuit a 5m de la fenetre, et aux voisins qui discutent au pas de la porte bien souvent."

"L''appartement est confo...

"L''appartement est confortable et propre, la terrasse très agréable (à noter que le propriétaire a fait carreler la terrasse cette année ; pour le reste tout est conforme au descriptif et aux photos sur le site). Cette location est idéalement située pour visiter la côte, se rendre sur les différents lieux touristiques et accéder aux plages. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce petit village charmant. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et soucieux du bien-être des locataires. Leur pizzeria-restaurant, à deux pas de l''appartement, permet de savourer de bonnes pizzas, pâtes, d''excellents desserts et limoncello "fait maison". Nous pouvons faire de belles petites randonnées (malgré la chaleur !) notamment pour se rendre dans de petites criques non accessibles en auto. Possibilité d''aller se baigner à pieds en partant de la location. Nous recommandons la plage Puollo et également Marina del Cantone, où il faut aller en voiture mais ce n''est pas très éloigné (on peut aussi y déguster de délicieuses pâtes aux fruits de mer au restau. sur la plage "chez M-G."). Nous avons fait la traversée pour Capri : superbe ! Pour une prochaine fois, nous ferons l''excursion Amalfi-Positano en bateau. Merci à Marzia, à Francesco et leurs filles pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Antonella D."

"Rien à dire sur la propreté du logement et de l'' équipement de celui-ci conforme à l''annonce.( sauf Wifi pas grave en vacances !!!!) Par contre impossible de fermer l''oeil en raison des aboiements du chien d''en face et des autres qui lui répondent ...ca peut durer des heures ! Il faut dormir les fenetres fermées en raison des bruits des scooters très nombreux et le soir des clients des restaurants... Pour aller à Sorente voire Naples, certes il y a un bus à proximité mais il n''y a que deux allers et retour par jour ...le dernier est à prendre à sorente à 16H (ca fait court) De plus les prix des parkings a Sorrente sont très excessifs (2H /H) De la terrasse aucune vue...sauf une maison et des citronniers emballés ( un soupçon de mer). En résumé pour visiter Naples, Pompei , Herculanum ce n''est pas la location idéale....heureusement que nous avions loué une deuxième semaine plus au sud"

"nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce petit village authentique de la région de Massa Lubrense.Nous avons été accueilli très gentiment par Marcia (Francesco était absent) et sa sympathique fille Elsa.L''appartement est vaste, confortable, (bonne literie) et la terrasse agréable.La région est superbe, Massa, Sorrento et la cote en général, très jolies. Quelque plages pas trop loin (on recommande celle de Puollo) et surtout, l''incontournable traversée pour Capri, magnifique, Marcia peut nous obtenir des billets de bateau à des prix avantageux.Bonjour à Titine ,bravo Elsa pour votre français et merci à Marcia de son accueil. AH! j''oubliais, le restaurant de Marcia mérite qu''on s''y arrête, les plats sont simples et bons et le cuisinier fait de super tiramisu!!"

"Apres un premier sejour prevu dans la maison reservee, tres agreable, bien agencee et refaite a neuf, nous nous sommes tellement plu que nous avons decide de prolonger notre sejour de 5 jours supplementaires. Nous avons ete loge dans la 2e periode dans la maison d''elsa. Maison plus grande situee parmi les citronniers. Aussi agreable que la premiere maison mais un peu plus retiree. Francesco et marcia sont des hotes remarquables de gentillesses et d''attention. Schazziano est tres bien situee pour visiter la cote Almafitaine, Naples et ses environs (un train part de Sorrente) La visite a Capri peut se faire a partir de la marina de la lobra (avec plage) qui se trouve pres de Massa Lubrense. Une autre plage proche et plus familiale se trouve a la marina de cantone. Vous pourrez egalement deguster des succulentes pates aux coques et moules au restaurant pizza de Francesco et marcia. Ce fut un inoubliable sejour."

"L'appartement est en par...

"L'appartement est en parfait état, très propre et bien equipé avec une terrasse fort agréable. Il est situé au centre d'un joli petit village bien sympatique et facilement accessible en suivant les recommandations de Francesco. Les plages, les sites touristiques ainsi que les commerces sont a proximité. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables. Ils possèdent un bateau qu'ils peuvent mettre a notre disposition pour une virée en mer. Il nous a emmené a Capri, nous a fait voir les grottes, nous avons même pu nous baigner. Nous avons passé une journée mémorable. Très bon séjour où nous nous retournerons certainement."

"Logement au coeur d'un p...

"Logement au coeur d'un petit village italien sympathique, situé sur des itinéraires pédestres bien balisés, dans une très belle région (vue sur la baie de Naples et sur Capri). De la terrasse, on aperçoit l'île d'Ischia et un peu de mer entre les maisons et les citronniers. De nombreuses visites sont possibles de cet endroit: Vésuve, Pompéi, côte amalfitaine, Sorrente... Propriétaires sympatiques, occupés par des travaux de constructions de nouveaux gîtes quand nous y étions. Nous leur souhaitons bon courage!"
