Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay

This is a wonderful property which is in a beautiful village. The accommodation is rustic and traditional, it has a well equipped kitchen and a fantastic fireplace, it has all the amenities you’d need. The grounds of the property are really big with parking and fantastic huge gardens. The hosts were great and they gave us vegetables! Wonderful beach in very easy walking distance as well as two restaurants, a bakery and an epicerie.

"The beautiful house was ...

"The beautiful house was very clean. The only sound you hear comes from the birds, chicken, cows and horses in the area: great! The house has everything one could need during a holiday. A big plus for our family is the child-friendly nature of the house. The house is located close to very nice beaches and picturesque villages. The owners are more than friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay."

Wonderful hosts and a beautiful house in a beautiful setting

We stayed for a week and a half with our 1 year old and 3 year old in September. The location and house are lovely - very rustic. It is excellent for children especially the big garden with the swings, toys and sand pit. Inside the house has everything you need and is so peaceful. Lots of the little things have been thought about which is appreciated. The location is excellent. The small village of Sotteville-sur-Mer (where the house is) has a bakery and butchers and nearby Veules-les-Roses (5mins in the car) has lots of restaurants, playground, beach, ice creams etc. Further afield there are lots of pretty villages to explore. We run a lot and particularly enjoyed the range of trail runs we were able to do whilst staying at the property. Patrick and Martine are very welcoming and we’re wonderful with our children too. Thank you for welcoming us to your home.

Schöne Unterkunft! Freundliche Gastgeber. Einrichtung in die jahre gekommen.. Sehr verwohnt und dreckig! Spinnenweben, Staub. Wir haben 6 Personen angemeldet und bezahlt, es war nur 5x Bettwäsche vorhanden.

Das Haus ist Teil eines größeren Anwesens, parkähnlich gelegen und sehr ruhig. Patrick und Martine wohnen im Haupthaus und sind immer ansprechbar. Das Ferienhaus ist nicht luxuriös, aber gemütlich und hübsch eingerichtet.

Wohlfühloase pur

Wir würden herzlich von Fam. Fournier Willkommen geheißen und ein frisches Brioche vom hiesigen Bäcker lag auch schon für uns bereit. Das Haus ist liebevoll und mit Kunstwerken aus der eigenen Familie dekoriert. Die alten Balken unter der Decke, der offene Kamin und das rustikale Ambiente machen es aber auch wunderbar gemütlich. Es gibt vor dem Haus eine kleine Sitzecke, in der man morgens herrlich seinen Kaffee in der Sonne genießen kann und nachmittags genauso hinterm Haus. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Sotteville-sur-mer ist ein kleiner Ort, aber mit einem ausgezeichnetem Bäcker und ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Vielen Dank Familie Fournier, dass sie diese kleine Oase Urlaubern zum Entspannen und Erholen zur Verfügung stellen.

Wunderschönes Anwesen und perfekt für Familien mit Kindern

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen mit Broich, Gewürzbrot und Marmelade in der Unterkunft. Wunderschöner Garten, perfekt mit Kindern. Seilbahn, Schaukeln, Sandkasten, Cricket, Tischtenis und und und. Ruhiger kleiner Ort. Küche mit allem ausgestattet. Offener Kamin, Spiele und Bücher für Groß und klein. Daa schönste Dorf nur 4-5 KM entfernt. Rundum sehr zufrieden. Kommen bestimmt Mal wieder.

Einfach ausspannen!!

Wir haben uns uns dem gemütlichen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Genug Platz für eine fünfköpfige Familie, gemütlich eingerichtet mit Kamin für schlechtes Wetter. Im Garten gab es viele Möglichkeiten: Liegestühle, Tischtennisplatte, eine tolle Seilbahn, fußläufig erreichbar ein öffentlicher Tennisplatz. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett!!

Gemütlicher Jahreswechsel

Das Haus strahlte eine große Gemütlichkeit aus und war viel schöner als erwartet, perfekt für eine Familie. Sehr gastfreundlich war auch Begrüßung durch die Besitzer mit einer Galette du roi. Man war schnell zu Fuß am Meer und Sotteville ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison, très agréable, propre et fonctionnelle malgré une météo des plus pluvieuses. On profite des jeux extérieurs, nombreux dvd et bd à dispo, et le petit extra de la platine vinyle qui a été bien apprécié. Accueil impeccable et situation parfaite à deux pas des commerces et des falaises accessibles rapidement à pied.

Toller Urlaub

Wir waren zu fünft im geräumigen Gästehaus (früher Stall/Scheune) der sympathischen Familie Fournier. Es ist künstlerisch gestaltet, sehr malerisch, schlicht und absolut ruhig in einem riesigen Garten gelegen. Man teilt sich den Garten mit Familie Fournier und ist doch, aufgrund genialer Heckensetzung, vollkommen abgeschieden. Eine Seilbahn, eine Tischtennisplatte, ein Federballfeld, ein Fußballfeld und ein Basketballkorb: Alles vorhanden:) Die wundervolle, raue Küste ist am Fuße der Klippen über einen Spaziergang erreichbar. Ein kleiner Kiesel-/Badestrand ist ebenfalls fußläufig bei Ebbe gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Normandie lieben gelernt. Merci pur tout!

Memorable holiday

Really lovely family friendly property in a pretty village which we all enjoyed. Patrick and Martine and their family where wonderful, generous hosts and made us feel very welcome. Grandchildren loved the zip wire and swings in the garden and we had many family table tennis sessions. Lovely area and wonderful beaches, especially the nearest, Roses, which we visited several times. Dont miss the fantastic saturday market in Dieppe. Great holiday, fantastic hosts.

We had an excellent stay in Sotteville-sur-mer. Patrick and Martine welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The house was perfect for our needs: spacious, clean surrounded by beautiful grounds. There is a lot of leisure equipment for adults and children. The village has 2 good restaurants and a boulangerie. We would like to stay there again when we next come to this part of Normandy. A great place and great hosts!

Belle propriété qui mériterait d'être mieux entretenue pour rendre le séjour plus appréciable.

Il s'agit d'une belle propriété, dans un endroit calme et elle idéalement située, pour effectuer des visites intéressantes. La maison est bien équipée ( machine à laver, lave-vaisselle), la literie est bonne. La douche dans la baignoire, sans rideau n'est pas pratique. Le logement n'était pas suffisamment propre. Nous doutons qu'il ait été nettoyé avant notre arrivée ou alors plus que sommairement : plan de travail de la cuisine et armoires "collantes", accoudoirs des fauteuils du salon sales, coussins des fauteuils tachés de suie, bac de la machine à laver sale, mobilier poussiéreux. Odeur d'humidité dans les armoires. En période de Covid, on s'attend d'autant plus à une meilleure attention portée sur la propreté et la désinfection des lieux loués.

Nous prenons bonne note . Toutefois nous étions présents sur place et notre personnel aurait pu intervenir pour répondre a ces remarques de même lors du départ ; la semaine était tres humide il faut prendre soin de ventilé. Régulièrement . la note de 2 est sévère pour tenir compte des 200 locataires que nous avons reçus en 17 ans toutes les appréciations étaient à 5
