Heading back towards the airport there is the village of Mandria that has a fine selection of local tavernas and a fish 'n' chip restaurant that is a must to try. If you want to get back to nature then there are the spectacular Troodos Mountains to explore which are peppered with ancient monasteries and even, in season, you can try one of the the four ski slopes the range hosts.
