About this property

mansion - Paunat

The manor of Hurtevent is on the highs of a quite and smqll village, Paunat, in the heart of the Dordogne. This village is famous for its ver yold chuch (1000 years) and there are hoods around it.
At 3km, there is the river, Dordogne, where you can swim. The medevial city of SARLAT is at 35km through beautiful roads. Around Paunat, there are also a lot of tourist sites (castels, grotto, mediaval village,...) and of course very good restaurants (a famous one is in the village, Chez Julien, pretty and fine meals).
The domain is managed by a gardener who lives in a part of the manor.
There is a swimming pool (10x5m + 5m) with a adapted area for children (low deep). Due to the size of the manor, all the rooms are not opened.
All the domain is reserved for you and for the cheeps and a dunkey.

Lovely House in lovely village

Beautiful Manor House in a lovely rural location. The pool was most welcome due the heatwave. This is the second time we have stayed and looking forward to our third visit next year.

"Stay in a chateaux and be Lord of the Manor! A delightful property in a fabulous location. Rooms are large and well equipped - staircase is fantastic and so are grounds. Kitchen is very small but has everything you need. Local restaurant 'Juliens' is very good but try and book tables before you go as it gets very busy. A great property that presents excellent value."

Très bon séjour

Très beau manoir au calme pour un séjour atypique. Parfait en famille, surtout avec la piscine très appréciée des enfants. À proximité du Bugue et de beaucoup d’activités. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins.

Magnifique

Équipements simples mais largement compensés par le lieu exceptionnel, au calme, vues splendides partout depuis le manoir et le parc, campagne et village attenants authentiques et magnifiques. Accueil charmant des propriétaires. Beaucoup de sites aux alentours, nous somme restés 15J en famille et n'avons pas eu le temps de tout visiter, nous espérons revenir.

Excellent sejour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce manoir. Beaucoup d’espace à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur dans un cadre très paisible. Madelaine, la propriétaire, est fort sympathique et très disponible pour les vacanciers. Je recommande fortement ce lieu atypique pour les vacances en famille.

Nous avons bien aimé cette semaine au château de Paunat dans ce cadre idyllique, lieu ideal pour les amateurs de calme. Paunat est un très joli village avec son abbatiale . Les propriétaires sont charmants. Les chambres sont jolies avec leurs salles de bain renovées .La piscine très agréable .Les ânes ont fait la joie de nos petites filles. Nous avons bien regretté de ne rester qu'une semaine. Nous conseillons cette location sans hésiter. Mr et Mme Bonno.

Lovely - Peaceful surroundings in beautiful area.....

Sadly a few issues with property in that the oven was broken, & then we lost power in a thunderstorm. However, owners rectified all issues immediately (new oven, within hours) and even brought us bottles of wine as an apology. Delightful setting. Would have been great to have a downstairs loo - as had elderly in laws staying. Also more umbrellas & holders, around the pool area would have been an advantage. Pool was fabulous, & as we had a week of unbroken sunshine, it was a great relief. A really old, mansion with lots of history. A truly fabulous break for everyone. Thank you !

Parfait, calme, bien situé

La maison est impressionnante, c'est un beau manoir Les propriétaires sont charmants, et très attentionnés pour faciliter le séjour. Tous les sites touristiques sont proches et l'on est content de rentrer loin de la foule de touristes dans un lieu calme avec les enfants.

La maison est très calme et on peut profiter d'un grand parc avec la piscine pour les enfants et les adultes. Les chambres sont grandes et bien aménagées. La propriétaire est très serviable et de bons conseils pour les activités aux alentours. Je recommande cette location.

"Location conforme à l'annonce , dans un cadre magnifique et d'une tranquilité absolue : pas de bruits , pas de vis-à-vis....Le parc est parfait pour les enfants , la piscine idéalement située .Mr et Mme A. sont des propriétaires très sympathiques et à l'écoute de la moindre requête , et de bon conseil quant aux visites à effectuer dans la région .
