Why Brian Sprague chose Stowe
After over a 10 years of traveling all throughout New England for business, I thought Stowe was the most unique town in the northeast region. It is the quintessential Norman Rockwell type town with more character and charm than any other town in New England. We really liked the fact that all the shops, restaurants and hotels were unique to Stowe with no franchises in the entire town. When we looked at various properties in Stowe, Stonybrook Resort really stood out from everything else based on the amenities the Resort has to offer (pool, tennis courts, sauna, X Country trails etc.) and it best of all it was perfectly located between the Stowe ski mountain and Stowe Village. We wanted to be close to the ski mountain, but not be far from the restaurants and village. Stonybrook is the perfect location for us because it is right in the middle of everything. What sold us on our particular unit was the view. There is no better view in Stonybrook than the "front meadow view'" from our back deck and all the rear facing windows. We still are in awe of our view after 20 years of ownership!
What makes this condo unique
We enjoy the proximity we have from our Stonybrook unit to all that Stowe has to offer. Stonybrook is located adjacent to the well known Stowe Rec Path & right near the intersection of Mountain Rd and Luce Hill Rd. Our kids can ride their bikes from our unit right to a private Rec Path entrance located in Stonybrook. Most of the town's 50 or so restaurants are within 2 or 3 miles of our doorstep. We can get to the town or the ski mountain in just a few minutes. We are located just off Mountain Rd right near Piecasso, Stowe Country Club, the Stowe Farmers Market and Stoweflake. The Von Trapp Lodge is on the same road as Stonybrook (Luce Hill Rd) & a great place to go for their outdoor summer concerts!
