The property was very spacious and had all the items you could need. Very clean. One downfall was having to take your trash on Sunday because the dump closes early on Saturday. That is the only criticism. Our host was easily accessible. We had an amazing girls trip!
The cabin was very clean and cozy. A starter kit of essentials - paper products , hand soap would have made our stay more welcoming. Trash disposal is very inconvenient .
Beautiful location, house has a great layout to have multiple people and be together or have some privacy. The kitchen is a great set up and lots to do!
Loved this cabin! Would definitely book here again! My only suggestion would be to get some string lights and hang around the property, back yard mainly so that being out at night isn’t as scary.
We had such a nice time getting away for the weekend in this beautiful cabin. The kids loved playing pool, foosball, and air hockey. And the adults enjoyed wine by the indoor fireplace!

The stay is an absolutely beautiful cabin and is very well furnished. The beds were comfortable, there were a multitude of games to play, a wraparound porch, fire pit, and lovely hot tub. However there was concern within our group as to the cleanliness of the bed comforters and blankets. Multiple blankets smelled like musty body odor and per the checkout instructions while you put sheets / towels in a hamper you left the blankets on the bed and were to hang comforters back up in a closet. It makes one question the cleanliness overall. Also for the amount of money you pay be aware that basic amenities such as hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. are not provided. We did not know this until the last minute from the check in email which was frustrating. Furthermore the Wi-Fi is terrible so don’t rely on it. The Wi-Fi information in the instructions did not match the actual situation but a message to the host resolved that. Located up a beautiful forested mountain within 30 minutes of Elkton and Luray. Lovely stay overall and great location but overall hosting and cleanliness could be improved.
Beautiful, clean home.Communication with host was awesome! When the say in the mountains, it’s literally up the mountain. Don’t take a low ground clearance vehicle.
A mountain home with great features and decor. With young adult kids that need space the multi floor bedroom layout is nice. Hot tub was great. On a clear star lit spring night with a fire it was wonderfully quiet. Luray isn’t far and Ciro’s pizza in Stanley was a very good small town pizza place. A relaxing getaway.
This property is great. I was so pleased with how clean it was. It’s super spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped! I love how large it is for a group of friends to get together.
Beautiful cabin with nice amenities. Convenient location for the National Park, hiking, Luray Caverns, river recreation, etc. Kids had a blast! I'm a tall guy and would have liked a queen bed, but it was OK, very quiet and peaceful.
We had a great time relaxing and just being together. Best pool table in any cabin we have ever rented. All three other games, two arcade games and an ice hockey table were all broken so we could not enjoy those. Overall a very spacious and great place to vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. The arcade games and hockey table were not listed in our property details since they are broken and we did not want guests to expect those amenities. None the less, we are trying very hard to get them all repaired but finding someone to repair them has become a huge challenge because of our location. We take great pride in our cabins and will continue to work hard to make our guests stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
This place was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Even my son who is in a wheelchair was able to move around with ease. Loved sitting upstairs and listening to my adult children in the basement playing pool and laughing. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I live in Virginia Beach, VA...just a few hours away from the cabin. We have always wanted a place to escape to in the mountains and we found it in Shenandoah. We fell in love with the serenity and quaintness of the area.
We are always looking for ways to improve the property and make it exactly what a guest would want for an unforgettable get-a-way.
We try to head up to our retreat every couple of months and always have a hard time leaving to come back to reality! We also love bring along our family and friends and always make lasting memories during our stays. We couldn't have dreamt of a better place to escape to.
