"Good place for a family ...

"Good place for a family with 2-3 children. Clean and spacious. Owners are very helpful and nice. Chaville is a small place, all the amenities are within walking distance. Lots of walking up and down the hill though. Best connection with Paris is at 10 min walking from the house, then 20 min to Paris with the train. Bus directly to Versailles at 5 min walking,then 15 min by bus."

Stay for Olympics

We were a group of 5 women traveling for the Olympics. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was fantastic. They even left a book with instructions for various things around the house. We encountered some issues upon arrival. First, the 4th bedroom that we were informed was on the lower level, was is an unfinished basement. The bigger issue was that 2 of the beds had bugs in them. Both dead and alive. Also, the towels provided were not fresh. When the owner got back to us the following day, they were less than compassionate or helpful related to the bugs, bedding and towels. The house was modern and in a convenient location. We were able to take the bus and train everywhere. Grocery stores were also within walking distance. There weren't a lot of restaurants in the area, so it was great to have the kitchen.

Nous avons loué et échangé notre maison une quinzaine de fois depuis 2008 et c est la première fois que ce type de retour nous est fait. Ces remarques sont peut etre du, en partie, au fait que nous ayons refusé la demande de reduction de prix de la location pour les insectes (non nuisible et lie a la présence du jardin - video disponible) et votre demande d avoir des serviettes de toilettes neuves. Nous avons neanmoins fournis d autres serviettes afin d'essayer de vous satisfaire.

"We stayed for 9 days during august 2012 and it was a great experience. The house was even nicer, if possible, than the web pictures. The beautiful garden was quiet and great for the 3 kids. The equipment and facilities were marvelous. The only thing to improve, for us, is that the price should include the bed sheets and bath towels. I have already recommended the house to all my family and friends. The owner was very kind and helpful giving us excellent advices and tips for sightseeing. Thank you very much to the owner for everything, "

"Beautiful neighborhood j...

"Beautiful neighborhood just a couple of minutes walk down the hill from an organic market on a main drag with cafes up the road. Comfortable, private sunken patio with gardens and plenty of chairs for everyone. Large yard around the corner from the patio. Plenty of room. No clutter. We came to ride in the Paris-Brest-Paris and this proved to be perfect. It was one hop on a train to the start, and the sub-level has a large garage where we spent a lot of time assembling bikes. It's too bad that most people stayed in hotels for the ride. This was a far better option. We spent most of our time on the patio, and I hope we didn't become too boisterous and annoy the neighbors. The owner was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. This is a home you will be sad to have to leave."

"This house was in a peac...

"This house was in a peaceful, private and safe location. It was very convenient for transport to Paris and Versailles. The garden and the basement were ideal for children. All the facilities in the house worked as described and the owner was helpful and friendly. This is not a house for very young children or the elderly as there are many stairs and it is located on a steep road. However, if you're children are 8 or over and you are all healthy this is a great place to stay. We had a fabulous two weeks with sunshine every day."

Gares de trains à proximité (5 à 10 minutes). Près de tous les services (supermarchés, boulangeries, etc.), peut se faire facilement à pied. Jeux pour les enfants (ils ont aimé joué au billard). "The accommodation provided by the Fourniers was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was very well-equipped, the backyard was very nice to use, and everything in the house was in good working condition. The house is in a wonderful neighbourhood." It was very easy to use the train to get to Paris and took about 30-40 minutes. The owners provided good information about the surrounding Chaville neighbourhood and the transit to Paris.

La propreté, l'équipement et l'acceuil était au top, ç'est une résidence parfaite pour une famille (les enfants ce sont bien amusés avec les jeux sur place, pendant que les parents apprécient de se reposer sur la terrasse). La location est très bien située pour visiter Paris et ses environs (bus à 50 m),ç'est un plaisir de laisser la voiture.Les balades et les pique_nique dans les bois à la porte de la maison sont très appréciés.Nous y retournerons un jour."

"We very much enjoyed our stay in this delightful family home in Chaville, France. Our hosts were immensely accommodating and helpful; they put great effort into ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. Their charming and comfortable home has lovely gardens, and is set in a safe neighbourhood. There is easy access to bus and train, and also to grocery stores and bakeries. This accommodation was perfect for our family and I would definitely recommend it. "
